New to marvel Tryen to make a character need help

To help you with building a Transform Self character, look at pages 73 and 74 of the Core Rulebook.

Some first pass notices:
1) the abilities and modifiers for the "weaker" form are typically purchased at half-price, but if your GM ruled it, he ruled it.
2) Close Combat 4 gives you more stones to beat Resistance (i.e. defense for the close combat example.) You need to purchase them, at least, at AN 1 (I can't tell without looking at it closer if that lack of numbers means you didn't purchase anything for it or not.)

Okay. I think I understand what the problem is. If this is totally off-base let me know.

The table on page 39 is the core of the issue:

The ranks show just how skilled the character is in that regard. Captain America, as one of the top Martial Artists in Marvel, for example, has Close and Ranged Combat in 7. He has more combat experience than, say, Colossus (who has AN 4 but a very high Strength bonus,) and, although Colossus is physically stronger than Cap (and can even put in a lot of stones to hurt Cap,) Cap might be able to impose situational modifiers on Colossus (and use them to his advantage to defeat the mighty Russian.)

In short: the higher your Action Number, the more stones you can put into the Action; the more stones you put into an AN, the higher Resistances you can beat; the higher Resistances you can beat the more you can do.

Every one of those actions (Close Combat, Symbiotic Weapon, and Web-Slinging) each need to be purchased according to cost. Close Combat, for example, is cost = Action Number, so whatever the AN is, that's how many stones you need to be. Same goes for Webslinging, and keep in the mind. Symbiotic Weapon, being a Psi-Weapon with the Armor Penetrating advantage, costs Cost Level = AN +6 (+3 for Psi-Weapon+3 for AP.) AN 1 Symbiotic Weapon costs the same as AN 7 (1+6) (6 white stones,) AN 2 costs the same as AN 8 (2+6) (9 white,) AN 3 the same as AN 9 (3+6) (12 white) and so on.

You're hamstrung here by your stone limits and the cost levels of each, so fitting in everything. You have 14 stones to make this all work, something like...Close Combat 4 (2 white,) Webswing 4 (2 white,) and Symbiotic Weapon 2 (9 white.) Close Combat 4 would make Gig more skilled than the average Joe on the street (and most people, likely, who aren't professional fighter-type athletics [mixed martial artists, sumo wrestlers, boxers, what have you,] or see plenty of combat [like superheroes]) and you could give him 4 specialties accordingly, along with a Strength Bonus (so he could put 11 stones, 7+4, towards attacks.) After manifesting his Symbiotic Weapon, he could do 13 stones Armor Penetrating, which will make him a major threat to most people (besides maybe The Hulk, Iron Man, and Cap who even then is going to have to be on the defensive.) Webslinging 4 would enable him to put up to 6 stones in the action (it comes with an Agility bonus; 4+Agi 2=6,) you only need 2 stones to move at Maximum Speed with the action, you can shift other stones to defense or use them to carry heavy objects, or whatever you need to to beat higher resistances.

Ok so lets say i have 40 stone plus the 10 in challenges (50) and with my stats as high as they are (20) plus the healing factor (15) So 50-35=15 and im fine with being dead broke so 1w refund

So with these 16 stone to work with how would you allocate the stones to make this guy a warrior. Mandatory web swing, a morphing symbio weapon.

ok what do you consider better for my symbiote as wep, weapon morphing or moded psy-wep

i went with psi cuz alex from school(goats) explainted how it would increase my max stone out put but morphing would only be a +3 to the attack
