Hio all i been looking threw alot of info in the last 2-3 days(hard to tell) and i dont know if there are any different magical actions out there but i got a few my players made up and i am gona leve them here for feedback as im not shure if there op or not i only got the 1 here but ill add the outhere later as thay come in wut im rilly looking for info wiase is if it is op if so how is it and is there any thing that can be done to fix it.

Arcane Magic
Cost=Action Modifier -1 to lvl if already and addict and comes with challange Adicted to Arcane Magic 4 stones.
Challange Adicted to Arcane Magic Must use Arcan Magic at least once a month for first month once evey 2 weeks second once a week 3rd and 1 a day 4th player also reseaves "feelings" from the magic to use it more resistance to feeling increas double per lvl of adicted. eg lvl 1 adict -2 situation without magic. lvl 2 -4 sit to mod without magic ect...
Info:
Arcane Magic is the Base of every Magic but has a mind of its onw it will in time consum the user if he is not carefull with it. arcan magic sumed up is all magic as one it can do anything magic wise and has no limitations.
Restriction
Arcan Magic is inpossable to master can never have the ac of 10 or hier so at 9 an automatice cannot be inproved my lines is inserted.
if u ever acheave 4x your max energy u die. e.g max of 3 u get to 12 u die. exploding into a migic Tornado of fire doing area of affect dmg and 1/2 duration= energy at death. (so 12 dmg to all who get hit by it last 6 panels in this case of death)
if u ever us up to or over you arcan action # u become addicted to arcane magic automaticly.
Advantages.
-u can substtute arcan mastery for mastery of magic -u get a free int and mastery of magic bonous. -u can have arcan magic at 3x your mastery of magic # up to 9 -u can use stons form arcan into any outher form of magic (like consintraton but only for magic actions) - can have up to 2x max energy without bern of 1/pan e.g max energy is 10 u can have 20 before energy bern takes effect.
if adicted u reseave the following bonous advantages
-magical force blast(pick any 2 per use depending on discripton) -3x dmg -2x dmg -area of effect -works at increads range of 4
-self contaned lifeform ( all needs can be suplied by magic)
Absorb Magic -up 2 2x action nunmber
Unlimited Creat and minipulate (all elemental and magicle forces)
Magicull Gathering -reseave your action # of Arcan magice in energy this panel.
there might be more but that is all he has made so far this seams ok to me but there might be older or more experansed people willing to abuse this in some way i dont see as i said ive only been a gm for about 3 weeks now.

O and 1 more question i have a player who is a magic user who already has a list of "spells Made" e.g Abera Kadabera(not not real but im lazy)
sorsersy (force blast) -2xdmg -areas affect turns to ice - dmg vs dur or str to escape ice.
shoud i give him a +1 Mod in my head for stuff like this or is it unfailr to the reast of the magical comunity?

Yes, it's very OP.
To break it down, the Arcane Magic Action just gives you way too much for CL = AN-1 (because who wouldn't take the addiction Disadvantage? I'd be hard-pressed to find a way for it to come into play). Basically, any power that a player wants needs to be paid for. If your player wants a Force Blast with all of those options, then (s)he needs to buy the Force Blast Action with each Option, not just claim magical addiction, get free Challenge stones, and earn even more power towards the Action.
I'm not sure I understand the "4x max energy" part.
Also, the same thing applies to the list of Spells Made. If it isn't covered by the school of magic, then your player needs to purchase the Action on its own.
How do you mean a +1 Mod in your head?

sorry like a dam cant think of wut it calld the oposet of risentencs of +1
at 4x your max energy u die is the sun if it, becauseof the Need for more in the magice and its ability to minipulate u into constently geting more stones whe u hit 4x your max te magic overflowes distroying your body and making some kind of disaster any thing fome a tornado to a big explosion.

How do you mean a +1 Mod in your head? k at 4x energy they would die doing area of effect dmg=to thereenergy at the time. do to the increasing addictivnes to this magic and it ability to control you for more power it does not take long for you to hit x4 of max energy. is there any way to ballance this power while ceeping it relitivly cheap and still tru to its roots? just incase i will tell D.M.O.C to come up with a new idea for next wensday. k the plus 1 thing is juat lik plus 1anti restinance. e.g g i stuck in a jail with -3 restiance to all spells casted in it. he puts 3 stones into action sorcery and tells me he want to do his spell Shazam(not a real spell of his) wich is the action of forceblast inform of magic acid. now do to the -3 to cast in the jail ad him only puttin 3 stons in it would be a toss up but becaus healready had a spell not make1up on the sopt ted to give him a +1 so he conts as a 4 not a 3 and the spell would go of easy. now is hat fair to the rest who do not have spells allreday made? just so u know he can only do his sorcery action in the form of spells and magic words.

I think that the best way to work the addiction to magic is this Mastery of Magic with a separate -2 Psych. Addicted to magic challenge. Or if you really want to mess with yourself . . . Mastery of magic (-2 Out of Control) -2 Psych. Addicted to magic challenge.

This sounds interesting but not really what you were going for in the first post so of the two options I would say the first is better

No, that's only Mastery of Magic. I did figure out, though, that this doesn't make MoM's magical bolts as worthless as I had thought they were, because the ONLY defense that applies to magical bolts, is the Modifier Magical Defense, which most people have none of. In other words, a 6 stone attack will pretty well cripple the vast majority of targets.

As a GM, I might have to put the kaibosh on that action. 2 stones for 10 panels of continuous 6 stone attacks seems a little crazy.
