I'm almost reluctant to even try this, but I really want to see if I can work this out. I've been checking out Play-by-Post MH games on some other sites, and they seem to do well enough for PbP. There are some tricks to keep things moving, but primarily it seems to be a matter of having players who are dedicated enough and post frequently (which I think is true of all PbP)

Anyway, I think I'd like to try to run the story of the New Avengers again. I'd like to keep this game small (3 players, 5 at maximum). The characters can be canon (with respect to 313's history and timeline) or original.

The previous incarnation of The Avengers imploded when the hero known as Patriot (NOT Patriot of the Young Avengers in the standard Marvel universe) went insane and took hostages, eventually murdering several people before his own team was forced to put him down. Characters may be former members of that incarnation of the team, or new people brought in to fill voids.

Before I start worrying about character creation, I want to see if there is enough interest, but the datafiles in the book should act as guidelines if you're wondering how powerful these characters will be. Captain America and Iron Man (both of whom would be available, albeit probably with some different milestones to reflect their 313 changes) are in the right arena.

I'll think about it. I'd like to return to the role of Vision -- we had cool stuff planned and never got to do anything with his subplot -- plus I too am soft for 313...
