STORY: Thomas Anderson used to be your basic hacker in New York city. That is, until he was contacted by a mysterious, almost legendary hacker known as Morpheus, and he learned the truth.
The truth that the world as he knew it was a ole' big lie. All of it. His family, his life, his job, everything he had ever done. He learned of the Matrix, of the war between humankind and the machines, and of the prophecy of the One. The rest, as they say, is history.
