On the heels of DK mentioning some potential reboots of his games, I've been inspired to try to stop my X-Men game from dying (and frankly, I'm not sure why I was considering just letting it die a quiet death).
What I'd like is to hear from the current players in my 313: X-Men game (that are still around) regarding their interest in continuing the game. One way or another, I intend to keep the 313 legacy afloat.

I am always down for a WK game. I would be interested even though I am not one of the original players.

If I reboot? It'll be open enrollment (though there are certain people I really hope to retain from the original)

It all sounds good except that healing factors do not increase energy regeneration and are the same cost.
I think it should have a reduced cost or let it restore energy.
That is just my two cents though.

Healing Factors are meant to be rare. In Marvel, maybe a dozen characters of the thousands (perhaps even 10s of thousands) of detailed canon characters have been stated to have beyond normal healing capacity. I have no problem with them being costly, particularly given that with the Energy Regeneration increase they used to provide, they were actually too cheap, and the subject of constant abuse.

Alright, I can dig your reasoning.
What game are you thinking about bringing back?

More like hundreds, becouse I keep on seeing them everywhere when I look through wikis. Still, I agree- it should be much more rare.

The wiki articles are festooned (I love that word) with supposition. "This character seems to heal more quickly than normal..."
EVERYBODY heals ridiculously fast in comic books. I'm talking about those who have been actually stated emphatically in the comic books to actually have super-human healing rates.
If you think about it, the standard healing rate of 1 white stone/day with medical care IS super-human. That means that the average human being (1 white stone of health) can be beaten comatose, and walk out of the hospital ready for anything 24 hours later...

I'd be interested in getting involved, WK - but then we've had a long [if not always fruitful] relationship and I always enjoy your games, even if only from the periphery.

He's still taking CAD's right now for the X-Men reboot... but is poised to make the final decisions tomorrow (if I'm not mistaken). I'd check out his post in the other forum on setting ammendments and rocket one in ASAP if you're serious about wanting in. murpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gorp&action=display&thread=13108

I haven't had time to completely read up on this. I would love to roleplay, and learn from a good GM who's been around for a while.
