Yeah, I guess you can say that! ^^ I do like One Piece too, although I don't know half as much about it as I do about Hellsing. My favorite character is Sanji... kicking his way through life trying to become the ultimate chef. Good to see that someone is still reading my little posts here!

Round 3 (Alucard VS Anderson) (Note: You might have noticed that I haven't make use of Alucard's and Anderson's Limited Prescience powers yet. The main reason of that is that they don't really care about defending themselves even half as much as attacking when they fight one another, so they just don't care switching stones into acrobatic for defense unless they specifically use that action in the first place, usually to move.) Alucard spends one stone in Speed to run towards his opponent, and 13 stones to Close Combat, using his deadly gloves (+2) for a total of 15. He shifts 2 of it into defense, reducing his C.C to 13 and increasing his Defense to 7. Anderson, on the other hand, doesn't intend to stand still and simply leaps, throwing two blessed daggers towards the vampire's chest. He puts 6 stones in Ranged Combat, adds in 3 for Targeting and 1 from the daggers themselves, for a total of 10. He also puts 6 stones in Acrobatics which he then shifts into Defense (total: 11.), to somersault towards his opponent at the same time. Result of Round 3: Although Alucard is faster, Anderson throws a pair of daggers, which is a ranged attack, so he gets to act first for that. He throws the weapons at his nemesis, who doesn't manage to deflect him good enough and hits him in the arm (his 10 in Ranged Combat outmatch Alucard's defense of 7, so that's 1 health of damage). He then try to jump out of harm's way and towards his opponent, who manages to slash him in the process (13 in Close Combat minus a defense of 11= 2 stones, so also 1 health stone of Damage). Both characters regenerate all their Health again, as well as 14 energy for Alucard and 12 for Anderson, once again. (All right, now that's enough for me. Alucard, when no seal is released and when he uses none of his powers, and Alexander Anderson are an even match and do not manage to damage each other enough to really endanger their opponent enough. The only way a fight between them could end is if either of the two has business elsewhere (in which case Anderson uses his Haven Scriptures to get away, or Alucard leaves Anderson's protective Sealing Scriptures aura, then teleports), or if Alucard asked for a release of the seals... or if some factors exterior to the two combattants made the fight in favor of one or the other. Guess there's no point in continuing this battle, it worked as I wanted it too. ) Alucard feels that Integra is in danger a few blocks away through his Psychic Link with her (since the link is already established and not actively used, it isn't blocked by Anderson's barrier). He stops fighting and smiling. "Sorry, friend. This was more than entertaining, but I have busines elsewhere. We'll continue this later." Anderson feels what is opponent is going to do (with Prescience), but reacts a second too late (damned lower Initiative! ) as Alucard runs and jumps off the building and out of Anderson's protective field. As soon as he exits the said field, he disappear in a flash. "No!! This is not over, undead fool!!" Alexander Anderson stops on the edge of the skyscraper and looks down to a vision of battle and bloodshed. "Why does he always have to postpone our fight!? I will get him next time, I swear it to God himself!!" And he let himself fall to the battle below like an archangel of war. [End of the battle Alucard VS Anderson.]

Next Battle: Ceras Victoria VS Heinkel Wolfe and Yumie Takagi...
This is a fight I'm really not sure of who's going to be the winner(or winners), although I beleive Ceras is supposed to win with at least relative ease. Heinkel and Yumie are really good, but they're still human... since Ceras has been created by Alucard, she should probably be successful. Anyway, we'll see about that.
Situation: Integra was standing tall, her back to a wall, her trusty PPK-S empty in her hand, and a cigar in her mouth. This battle was very apocalypse-like, and she was glad that her side was slowly gaining the upperhand... However, surviving to see the end of it was also slowly proving to be difficult. Two "freak" vampires were drawing near, and there was apparently no one around to give a hand.
"Dammit! Where's Walter when I need him? Or Alucard..."
Suddenly, a shadow passed right through the two bloodsuckers who just burst into blood like nobody's business. Integra eyes barely had the time to see what had just happened. Whoever had done that to the vamps was indeed extremely fast... and dangerous. As she predicted, however, it was neither Alucard nor Walter. A strange looking nun-like girl rose before her, a very strange, almost possessed, look in her eyes. Besides her was standing a blond girl dressed in a priest outfit, complete with the cross pendant. She bore a handgun, aimed at Sir Hellsing.
"Great", said Integra sarcastically, dropping her gun as well as her cigar, which she crushed with her right foot. "Section 13's best hounds. I enjoyed more the company of the vampires."
Heinkel Wolfe raised an eyebrow. "Saddly enough, you don't get a choice in the matter, lady..."
"Sir Hellsing", cut Integra.
"Whatever. You're coming with us, we gotta take you back to Enrico Maxwell."
"So these are your orders? And where's Anderson? I thought he was the one in command when Maxwell's not around." Integra was trying to win some time, but she knew she was in trouble.
Yumie laughed nervously. "He was too busy keeping your undead bodyguard away from you so WE could complete our objective. Now shut up and come with us!!", said the berserk nun, pointing her blade at Integra.
The leader of Hellsing caught sight of something on top of a nearby building. She smiled back at Heinkel and Yumie. "You know what is good about my so-called undead bodyguard?"
"Huh?"
Suddenly, a car just came flying towards the two assassins at very high speed, and they had just the time to get out of the way. When they got up to face whatever had thrown the car, a red-eyed girl in a police outfit stood between them and Integra.
"... I actually happen to have two.", completed Integra as she lighted a new cigar.
"Stand back, let me handle this, master", said calmly Ceras.
"Go ahead. And thanks for the backup." Integra reloaded her gun, just in case.
Heinkel raised her gun towards Ceras: "Another vampire?! Damn it! Come on Yumie, let's go!"
[Fight!!]
With her 6 in Agility, Ceras goes first, followed by both assassins together. Police-girl puts in 11 stones in Close Combat (including 7 for Strength), and 4 in Fear, which she shifts in Defense plus her 3 in Reflexive Dodge (she is mostly inducing a supernatural fear in her opponents that makes it harder for them to hit... I love Fear). Since Yumie seems to be the most dangerous, Ceras will attack her first.
Heinkel puts in 7 stones in ranged combat, adding 2 for Targeting plus 2 from her Glock pistols, total of 11. She shifts 3 into defense plus 4 from Ref. Dodge.
Yumie assign all her 12 energy stones into a single deadly slash from her katana (+3), total of 15. She still gets 5 in Defense from her Ref. Dodge.
Result of round 1:
Although Ceras has a better initiative, Heinkel fires a gun which allows her to shoot first (and ask questions lat... naaah). Heinkel's shot (8 stones total) exceeds police-girl's defense by 1, so she gets hit, say in the shoulder, for 1 health damage.
Then, Ceras throws a undead-powered-up elbow shot to Yumie's face, which the berserker nun is just not fast enough to evade (11 stones against Yumie's 5 in defense: 6 stones get through, and the nun suffers 2 Health damage.) She is shocked with the rush of blood on her face, but she still manages to slash powerfully at the vampire girl (15 against a defense of 7 is pretty harmful... 3 more health damage for Ceras.) A large open wound appears on Ceras's flank, but she manages to get over the pain. The three adversaries stand, surprised by the fact each side is much more dangerous that they first beleived (even I am... lol).
Ceras Victoria regenerates 1 Health, which brings her back to 2, as well as 3 energy stones.
Heinkel regenerates 3 energy stones, and is still at full health.
Yumie only regenerates 1 energy, as she's badly wounded and left at 1 health. She ain't doing so well.

Hmm... considering how it's playing right now, Ceras is pretty much screwed. Even if she puts all her stones into defense to hold on until she's got enough life to kick Heinkel down, the female priest may still use hers plus her targeting plus her gun bonus for a total of 7, beating Ceras's defense by 1, for another Health damage. That's not good.
Ceras should definetly be better than that. It is a fact that she can't win against Alexander Anderson, but that's already covered in her lesser healing factor. She is supposed to be able to beat down Yumie and Heinkel, or at the very least, be likely to. I guess I'll increase her Durability to 6 (and energy to 18) and re-start the fight with that.
By the way, if someone is wondering why I didn't gave her the Halconnen cannon for this fight... well... it would have then just be so damn easy. Besides, she's supposed to be able to beat them unarmed... this is what I'm verifying. The fact that she can kick both of their butts with a 30mm cannon usually mounted on jetfighters is already pretty evident. ;D

Round 2: Victoria VS Heinkel and Yumie
Actions and results: Ceras cartwheels away from Heinkel's shots, putting all her 4 stones into defense plus her 3 Ref. Dodge. Heinkel tries to shoot at her with all her 3 stones, plus 2 from Targeting and 2 others from the guns (7 total, too), which is just not enough, so she barely misses. Yumie holds her face with both hands, trying to recover from the shock of her probably broken nose. She does nothing, waiting for her energy to raise a bit instead of wasting it.
Ceras recovers another Health, bringing her at 4 and regains 6 energy. Now it's going rather well...
Heinkel recovers 3 other energy stones, but realizes she will need better than that to hit the girl. She's still at 3 Health.
Yumie barely hangs on with her small 1 Health, and she is now at 2 energy.
******
Round 3
Ceras goes a bit crazy, as she bares her fangs. She puts all 6 stones in Close Combat and add in 2 from her fangs, aiming for Heinkel's throat. She shifts 3 in defense, plus her Reflexive Dodge.
Heinkel tries to stay away and recover a bit, so she spends only 1 stones in agility, which she shifts to defense plus 4 from Rf. Dodge, total of 5.
Yumie tries a desperate last katana strike at the vampire, spending her 2 stones plus 3 from her blade, total of 5. She still has 5 in defense from Ref. Dodge.
Result of round 3: Ceras leaps at Heinkel, but the assassin manages to evade the attack. Yumie tries to cut Ceras out of commission, but the vampire deflects the blade with a quick blow at Yumie's hand. No one gets hurt here.
Ceras regenerates another Health, which brings her to 5 and her energy to 7.
Heinkel's energy rises to 5. She is still unharmed.
Yumie's energy rises to a 1, and she is still bloody and weakened.

Round 4: Victoria VS Heinkel and Yumie Ceras will spend 4 stones into Fear directed at Heinkel, and 3 into Close Combat shifted into defense for a total of 6. Since she acts first, Heinkel's energy drops to 1 as her opponent appears undefeatable. Nothing like Yumie and her had ever faced... Heinkel was going to spend her stones in a ranged combat attack with her gun and Targeting without caring too much about defense, so she does so with only 1 remaining stone, for a total of 5. Ceras dodges out of harm's way. Yumie tried another hopeful strike (1 plus 3 from her sword), but doesn't get near enough to her target to do any harm. Ceras regenerates her last missing health, and recovers 9 energy points. This is gonna be it soon... Heinkel is still unharmed, so she regenerates another 3 energy... Is this really going to last? Yumie regenerates another 1 energy. She's not having a good day. ***** Round 5 Ceras spends all her 9 stones in Close Combat, plus 2 from her fangs, and bites hard at Heinkel. This is gonna hurt. She keeps 3 in defense, thanks to Reflexive Dodge. Heinkel tries to shoot a final shot with her 3 stones plus targeting and the bonus from the gun. Totasl: 7 stones. Yumie slashes at Ceras with her blade once again for a 4 stones attack. Result: Heinkel shoots at her target and 4 stones get through. 2 health damage for Ceras. The vampire gets to act then, and with 11 stones in close combat, she tears through Heinkel's defenses at last. The waiting payed well. 11 minus the 4 stones of defense equals 7 red stones of damage, or 3 health. Heinkel falls with a scream of pain. Yumie slashes at Ceras, and overcomes her defense with 1 stone. Ceras's health drops back to 3. Ceras regenerates 1 lost health and 6 other energy, while Yumie only gets 1 energy. ***** Round 6 and seven: Ceras keeps regenerating and keeps her opponent from acting using Fear. Later, she combines 4 stones in Fear and 5 in Social Skills against Yumie. Ceras states that her friend "is not dead... yet" and that she should drop down her weapon and surrender. Ceras still holds the priest-girl in her arms, her fangs ready to rip her throat out. She also receives a few stones (let's say 2) on her Intimidating attempt because she just downed Heinkel in one blow and because she managed to gravely wound Yumie, which hasn't happened in a long time. An intimidate attempt of 11 clearly outmatches Yumie's mental defenses of 8 total, and she is in no condition to keep on fighting, so she reverts to her Yumiko appearance, drop her sword and fall to her knees. "Pleaaaaase.... do not... do not kill us! Don't let Heinkel like that..." Ceras and Integra looks at each other, puzzled. What happened to the berserker girl they were just looking at? ____________________________________________________ Now that was a very close call. Ceras is an even match for Yumie and Heinkel now. Which is kind of okay, I think... it's true that Ceras isn't that much experienced and that Heinkel and Yumie are the 2nd and 3rd best elements of Section 13. I guess I'll leave it at that.

Any comments, suggestions, anything else? 'Cause... I kinda have done everything I wanted in this thread.
I don't think I forgot any very important character... (Didn't do Incognito, because I don't like him and don't know him enough.)

Impressive as I said, though, as they say in one place "long post is long" , so it might take me some time to read it.
That reminds me of one "Hellsing RPG" we used to play on my native RPG forum. Game's dead right now, but I do liked my character a lot. His name was Berzerker, he was a psychopath who enjoyed ripping guts out of small animals, so he ended up in Hellsing. He was psycho enough, to fight ghouls and wampires with knives only and always avoid being killed or touched, so they made him a damn good and light armor, gave him two short blades and man, how I loved him ^^ His greatest challange, aside from being a total psycho, was his complete love and loyalty to Integral, even if she turned evil and wanted to destroy humanity...
Good times ^^ I think I'll make him a CAD someday. Anyone wants Hellsing game here?

Maybe. Do I get the privilege of playing Alucard since I took all the time of making his and the others C.A.Ds? ;D "I'm merely a tool of the Hellsing secret organisation. I dispose of garbage." Oooh, yeah. I'd just love to say that. By the way, playah, if you actually do a C.A.D for your character, make it with, say, 80 stones plus challenges so he's strong enough to hold his own against lots of normal vampires and a couple of stronger ones. A Helllsing campaign including the main characters should definetly not start at 40 stones. ^^ If he's a human (as I understood it), you could potentially make him as good as (or even better) Walter in his youth, who was one of the few humans considered worthy by Alucard... and as such, pretty strong! (And I've made these characters using my homerule about raising stats above 3 using XP, so you could even have an ability at 4 even if you're a human. I'd suggest Durability, indeed...) Also, if someone wanted to play Integra, she would get all the advantages of doing so aside her own abilities and powers... Which means she would be the head of Hellsing, the direct master of Alucard (she gives him orders... that's some power.) and a member of the most powerful secret society of the world (The Knights of the Round Table). Although she herself is worth only more or less 40 stones, those advantages clearly make up for it... as well as the sheer coolness of Integra!

And she's the only one who's been seen using magic. (except Alucard's summonings and others powers, which more look like vampire powers than real magic.)

Playing Alucard is... well, I just dont see it. I believe you could do it, seeing all those stories you just wrote, but Alucard should remain NPC, same as the other core characters. For justice more than for game.
No way Berzerker could make a use of 80 stones. He's more of a Wolverine type, but instead of powers he has tools. Im all pumped up to make him a CAD right now, so stay tuned for a freak.

All right for Berserker. Can't wait to see him. As for Alucard, I swear I would play him exactly the way he's supposed to act, and that I would not take the fun away from the other players. The way I see him, he mostly would fight against Anderson when he meets him (cause he's Alucard's favored foe), watch his allies slaughter the weaker opponents while smiling(and lend a hand if need be) and train those who wants to be. He also would listen to anything Integra says, so if someone plays Integra (someone with real good roleplaying skills, please! ), I would more or less be totally under her control (and I would be totally devoted to defend her against whoever is foolish enough to directly threaten her! ) In a sense, I'd be playing more like a mentor than a real hero, like if Alucard wanted Ceras to increase her capacities rather than making all the kills by himself. I would assist you guys, and fight sometimes for fun or because Anderson is around... or because Integra is in danger. I would focus on roleplaying and speaking as Alucard rather than killing everyone. Besides, I'd like to co-GM this story... or more like, be a secundary GM if someone is up to the task of being the primary. I'd help with the enemies, making stats for bosses or whatever, and give a general hand about it. Guess I could be the GM, but I'd like to be an assistant rather than the big deal. (And being an assistant, that would make Alucard a kind of a NPC anyway, so it would work that way too.) EDIT: Just added a Statecraft action to Alucard. He was formerly Vlad Tepes, an aristocratic warlord noble, and he's been seen counselling Ceras about what to do, so a Leadership action seemed necessary. The fact that he was a noble convinced me to give him statecraft. ____________________________________________________ But... most of the main characters except him aren't that high in stones. Victoria ain't over many marvel characters, and Integra is worth not much over 40. Walter is worth a bit over Wolverine, but not that much. The two section 13 girls are around this level as well, and Anderson... well, he's Anderson, so... I'd put him as a Bad guy. Making it simply a campaign of more than 40 stones would do the trick, no? I mean... you can make Berserker strong enough to kick some major vampire butt, so he could fit nicely with them.

New EDIT: I also added to Integra's C.A.D the ability to remove the seal without Alucard actually asking for it. She's his master and can decide that he does so whenever she likes.
