I don't know where you can get the books in PDF format, however you can still buy all three from Amazon.co.uk so if you live in the UK you could get a copy of that for just over £11, and they definitely have the X-Men book as well for £9 ish.

I've picked up 2 of each off of ebay for about $20 for a set of 3. But so far as I know the books were never released in PDF format, at least not officially. If there is something specific you're looking for (like the actions, or examples of ARS in action) you can find it on the site, and then just print it up. I know that there is file on here that has all of the actions through the third book on one sheet, front and back. And in the General forum you have examples of character creation and the combat system in action.

I have a PDF copy of all the books, even spider-man, but this post is a year and a half old so I doubt anybody still cares.... but none-the-less message me for a copy.

For those who are looking for books, here's my best advice; 1) Gaming Conventions. This game was hyped to be the best and newest thing since sliced bread, and some game stores bought more than they would ever sell (especially considering how soon Mutants & Masterminds came out afterwards). They will often be reasonably priced as well. 2) Comic Book Stores. Some of the ordered it by accident, others in an attempt to diversify their stock. Look in used bins and the like. 3) Ask around. I've seen various books still on shelves in game and comic stores in the past month gathering dust. People like me will gladly send off the book if some arrangements can be made to cover costs, or send along the number of the store to see if they will ship it. 4) Game stores. Look in the used section, look in clearance bins. Look everywhere, any city you go to. 5) Used games stores. Same philosophy. Look in the games and hobbies sections. Also check large chain book stores which will let books rot on shelves for quite some time.
Hope this helps anyone.

Try the library. That's were I got mine, and because of their return policy, I can keep it as long as I need it.

If they ever came out with official pdfs I'd buy it. But I think there's just not enough interest in MURPG that anyone has actually bothered to do it.

I got mine in "Le Valet d'Coeur", a book, miniatures and general roleplaying stuff shop in Montréal, Québec.

A store near me ( www.retrorocketcomics.com/index.html)has three copies each of the main book and the Hulk/Avenger guide. I think there are a lot of people who would buy all the copies out there if they knew how to get them.
