Hey gang, Check it out: we have a dice roller again! 7S9ht4ho1d61d6Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! How does it work?Using the dice roller is pretty easy: typing [roll=1d6] gets you a basic d6 roll: 1d6Note that the big number is the result, and the little numbers in the lower-right corner represent the die you rolled. It doesn't have to be a d6, it can be anything, like [roll=1d10], which gets you: 1d10If you roll multiple dice at once, it adds them together. For example, typing [roll=2d8] gets you: 2d8You can also add a flat number to your roll, like so: [roll=2d6+3][/font] 2d6+3If you just roll several dice individually, such as [roll=1d6][roll=1d6][roll=1d6][roll=1d6], it won't add them all up: 1d61d61d61d6Feel free to use this thread to make some test rolls until you get the hang of it, or to discuss the plugin in general. You're also welcome to message me or another admin (currently just me, but should soon include Wildknight, dorkknight23, and Dionon). Full documentation can be found here. Enjoy! ~TWF 1d61d61d61d62d62d62d6+31d61d61d61d61d61d61d61d61d6

Thank you Super Admins!
Here is a d% roll for use in the Marvel Super Heroes RPG.

Edit: I'm a little embarrassed that I rolled a 69.1-100

Is there a way to add custom dice? I mean, someone could want Fudge Dice, other some Star Wars dice... I'm asking because I wouldn't mind making some images for those. Disclaimer: I tried to read the documentation to figure it out, but my head exploded. Yes, I have no head now, I'm writing this by magic.

Disclaimer: I tried to read the documentation to figure it out, but my head exploded. Yes, I have no head now, I'm writing this by magic. I don't think there's any way to fudge dice; I think GMs who want to keep that option open may want to just roll their own dice at home and simply reveal the outcomes in text. I might suggest as a feature for future versions that they allow a way for GMs to roll dice that allow for fudging. Basically, the GM's dice would look different (different color or something) so that players wouldn't be able to use the "fudge" script. Red dice for the GM (which include the option to fudge) and regular white dice for players. However, I think we can build custom dice, including using pictures instead of numbers. I'll do some digging to see if the pictures need to be a certain file size or certain dimensions.. ~TWF

By Fudge I meant the rpg system that uses D6 dice with two "+" faces, two "-" faces and two blank faces, not cheating xD But yeah, I just wondered about that possibility, in case a GM wanted to run a game that uses weird dice. I think the standard vdice images are 82x82 pixels, btw.

Test Roll=4d6 Roll=2D8+3 RESULT What is being done wrong? 2d4 [/roll] Sent from my SGH-T999 using proboards It's either roll=4d6 (everything between []) or roll=4-24 (everything between []) I think. Maybe it's the posting from the phone thing? But it should work if you are just using a browser, despite the device. 4d64-24EswGfoi7
