I'd like to do a game set in the deep expanse, classical exploration tropes, to boldly go, and all that jazz. guardians of the galaxy? or star trek? lol

Would also like to do a "Beyond the End"/"Edge of Tomorrow"/Post-Apocalypse (with biblical connotations) story at some point.

I've given some thought to a couple of different games. At the moment the big two I've had ideas for are:
Earth 7642: Marvel meets DC - This is the multiverse designation for the X-Men/Teen Tians crossover. Basically it would be a melding (to the best of the GM's ability) of the Marvel and DC universes. It's pretty self explanatory, but I think it would be fun for the wall between the two worlds to fall and for them to mix.
Nintendo Smash Universe (Not a set title) - Basically this would be a universe built to encompass as many of the Super Smash Brothers' characters and worlds as possible. Creatively I would want it to feel like an amalgamation of Super Smash Brothers, Super Mario RPG, and Super Mario Brothers Z. I have a vague story put together in my head already. I just need to work on the opening chapters to get to this story. Definitely would be open to all characters featured in Super Smash Brothers so far, and characters from any game on a Nintendo console would be up for discussion.
Those are the two I've been daydreaming on so far. Unfortunately I haven't messed with this game in years so I'm not where I should be mechanically to run a game. I also work better in a tandem setting where I have someone to bounce ideas off of and get help in tweaking the stories. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I am considering revisiting my old Age of Heroes campaign, sort of. Like that previous game it will involve both Marvel and DC characters as well as others, including the Transformers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The major difference being that this campaign will be set in 1985 and will kind of explore the contrast between the Silver Age and Dark Age of comics. I am not sure which system to use, MURPG, M&M and Marvel Heroic are all possibilities. Also the game will not follow a single group of heroes, but rather switch between different ones. There will be a mix of adaptations of existing comic storylines and original ones. I am also not sure whether PbP will be the best for this game. I might run it on roll20.net when I can get my computer running again. theageofheroes.obsidianportal.com/

I am wondering whether it would be worthwhile to incorporate the Detroit-era JLA or to skip it in favor of the Justice League International. I do have some ideas on how to incorporate the Justice League Detroit, and it might be interesting to play a game involving a group of largely second-stringers striving to live up to the legacy of the original JLA. I am also wondering how to deal with the fact that the Crisis on Infinite Earths is supposed to happen during this time.

The Daily Bugle can use both a Captain America and a Nightcrawler in the current Secret Wars adventure.

The Daily Bugle can use both a Captain America and a Nightcrawler in the current Secret Wars adventure. Are we talking an experienced Cap, well versed in the goings on of your world?

If I were to run a Ghostbusters game (likely either completely unrelated to the 2016 movie or only tangentially so) 1) would people want to play in such a game? 2) what system would work best to run it in besides the West Ends d6 game from the 80's? I also found an Indie game called InSpectres, but it uses the Amber system which I also kind of dislike. MURPG as-is is a poor fit IMO.
