And we got a trailer for this too. Less terrible than BvS, but it still looks awfully out of place. Also I don't like this Flash.

Also I don't like this Flash. "Hey, Marvel has that really fast guy that everyone loved in their recent movies. Who was it? Silver Flash or something? Let's take him and make him a little more socially awkward! People will love him!" -DC

Yeah, that one was great." "On a totally unrelated note, here's the trailer for Wonder Woman!" ~TWF

The DC Movie Murderverse is back, now with even more gray and slo-mo! Sigh.

I see they've given Justice League the Suicide Squad trailer treatment: lean heavily on pop music, and make the cuts so short that the audience can't really tell the movie is bad.
I feel like they're also making a mistake that hindered the Ghostbusters requel: they tried to make every character the new Venkman. In the original Ghostbusters, Venkman was the main comic relief, Ray was the main foil for Venkman, Egon was more of a straight-man, and Winston was the everyman. And it worked well. That's not to say that they didn't all have their comedic moments, or that Venkman didn't occasionally become the butt of a joke, but at least they weren't all trying to one-up each other.
In Justice League's case, they seem to be trying to make all the characters into the really cool badass. Look how badass Wonder Woman is with her cool moves. Look how badass Aquaman looks. Look how badass Cyborg is with his cyborg stuff. And I mean, come on, it's Batman. The Flash is the only one who isn't a typical badass, but his powers are still off the charts.
I think the movie could still work, but it looks like they're still needlessly fighting an uphill battle. They still seem to be compensating for a lack of substance (character focus/development, plot, etc) with style and action. I don't know what it's going to take for them to learn that action is ultimately about why people are fighting, not how.

They don't really care. They'll draw the crowds, get the money, and continue on in blissful ignorance.

It may not have the Joss Whedon touch, but you are fortunate not to have Michael Bay rebooting you. what he did to megatron and the transformers ...... shudder..

Eh. I actually liked that.
But, I also tend to like Michael Bay flicks. So. :-p

Latest trailer from Comic Con:
I don't know one manages to compile a 4+ minute trailer without even hinting at the plot, but by god they've done it. Still might be worth watching if either there is a plot somehow hidden in there, or if it just passes directly into 300 or Sin City territory of pure eyecandy and style over substance.

My guess is it's going to touch on Final Crisis, as I read a leak mentioning that Darkseid would be the big bad (and you can clearly see parademons in the first trailer). Trailer looks decent, not as good as Wonder Woman, but better than BvS, which someone mentioned earlier. Makes me want to do something Justice League oriented on the Boards.

There seems to be a Mother Box in Themyscira for reasons, Darkseid comes and kicks ass (something that won't be too hard since these amazons seem to die to gunfire, something that irks me to no end). I'm intrigued by the "no kryptonian, no lantern" sentence, implying that Darkseid has been waiting for a chance when the Earth was weakened. In any case, we'll have Superman for sure, and it would be quite weird if we didn't have some kind of Green Lantern. I'm not super interested, but at the same time there is no way a Justice League movie gets made and I don't go to see it, so yeah.

This is what I found puzzling about Lex Luthor in BvS: I guess his goal was to get Superman killed so that Darkseid would invade? Because.. reasons? Anyway, I guess he got his wish, so let's see what, if anything, he does about it. Or, on the other hand, I wonder if they'll just write Lex out because hoooooly bananas, that was the worst portrayal of any character I have ever seen on film. I strongly believe that literally anyone here could have done a better job in a weekend.
The "no Lanterns" line actually made me happy. It was one of the first acknowledgements of existing lore in this DCCU, which is something they've been lacking. Among the many reasons the DCCU has been falling flat with me is the sense that the only things that exist are the things we're being shown on the screen. Here's Batman, here's Superman, and here's Wonder Woman, and they're literally the only interesting things happening in the universe! The MCU has always done a pretty good job of making their world feel bigger, and more complex than just what we're shown. The characters and events feel like they fit into some bigger picture, and they're just figuring it out at the same time that the audience is. I don't think it's just an easter egg; the fact that there isn't a Lantern guarding Earth is actually important, and is something that I suspect will be rectified in future.

Maybe, I'm not specially knowledgeable in that area of the DC universe and it certainly didn't look like Darkseid, but since we haven't seen him yet, I don't know how his movie version looks like. I hope Steppenwolf isn't the big bad of the movie, or it would be a bit sad.
