Slim, brunette, great ass, long legs, seriously athletic figure. The girl should be on a catwalk or staring in a movie, not drinking in a dive bar in downtown Gotham. Of course that's how most detective movies start, with a girl. You've been watching her blow off advances from guys all evening, one even tried grabbing her. He's gonna have a seriously sore head in the morning from being face planted into a table. His buddies pick him up and drag him outside, problem is you know the sort, as soon as he wakes up he's going to want revenge for being humiliated like that. It's going to be a three against one fight and you don't like her odds of getting home tonight.
You watch her stand, throw money at the barman for her tab and she's heading for the door. Despite knocking back shots all evening she's surprisingly steady on her feet, moving with the surety of an athlete all muscle and liquid grace. Not a trace of intoxication in her movement. The detective in you says something is off. Half a bottle of tequila should put anyone off their stride, but for some reason not her.
You could follow her to protect someone. The guys from earlier have had plenty of time to get ready. The only question is who would you be protecting?

Inside John's head
Gotham... in a way the city itself was a drug. A guy like me... addiction was hard to break. Jennifer helped get me out before it swallowed me whole. But here I am, crawling back like a heroin addict to his den. In a way Gotham was a beautiful dame drawing me near.. just like this beautiful woman being hassled by the inferior men that the slums of Gotham have produced. She was obviously not a normal gal... something unnatural, unnerving even, made her stand out. Maybe it was the amount of alcohol she put down or the obvious strength hidden inside that gorgeous body. One way or another... she's exciting. Making my heart race in a way I haven't felt since the crash.

You focus, letting all of the sensations in, the traffic outside, the clink of glasses, the smell of beer. You focus past it, the woman's footsteps through the door, her heart beat, calm and steady. The people outside, one, two, three, no four of them, they are waiting for her, just as you thought. Her footsteps pause, a breath in. She has spotted them, or has she? Her heart beat quickens, but only a little, not fear, but excitement.
She has spotted them, she was expecting this too.
You step out out the door, turning your coat up against the rain. Maybe ten yards away a group of men are watching the woman as she heads across the road, away from them. You catch a glimpse of her face, there is the slightest shadow of a smile there. The men are not the predators here, she is.
You watch as they follow, jackals moving in for the kill, they don't know what they are hunting. She turns into an alley, it's a cut through to the taxi rank of 35th street. Everyone goes that way. Your senses stretch out further down the alley. The clink of a bottle, a hard breath, and the smell of a cigarette. There are two men waiting there, four against one was bad, six against one is worse.
Does she really know what she's doing?

"Hey babe... Having a good night?"
The two in the alley have stopped her before you reach them. You call out to her, maybe it will defuse the situation.
"Hey Doll, woman like you shouldn't be all alone in the dark."
The two at the back turn to meet you, they don't look happy to see you. Dressed in gang colours, it's been too long since you were here last for you to recognise which gang, but you know a thug when you see one.
The woman calls out.
"Boys, I know how you think this is going to go down, but why don't you just go play in traffic, it will hurt less."
Her eyes are on you, an urgent stare, not worried for herself, but worried for you.
The guy who got his face messed up earlier seems to lose his patience.
"Aw, shite, fucke these bytches up!"
A gun comes out and is levelled straight at you, the retort is deafening in the narrow alleyway. Only problem is, you're two feet to the left of where he was pointing, or at least, you are now.
You look over to the woman, the thugs seem to be having an equal amount of difficulty laying a hand on her. With an ease that almost seems casual she sidesteps the one that was going to grab her, letting him sprawl headlong into one of his friends.
This is going to be interesting.

The smell of gun powder filled his nose reminding him of a time not long ago in a place far away. The gunshot filled his ear and spurred his blood into an adrenaline fueled excitement. He felt the cold hard click of the chamber and breath of everyman there. The pounding of their combined hearts. The mystery woman's barely perceptible movement. His own heart joined the rhythm of pulsing blood. It was time to play a game.

The guy with the gun turns trying to reacquire you, finding however that it isn't going to be that easy. In a heartbeat you are behind him giving him a slap to the back of the head, then next to his friend with a punch to the gut. Next you are further into the alley banging two of the thugs heads together.
None of this does much damage, but confusion now reigns. In the dark you could be one, two or multiple people, all attacking at once.
The woman is tangling with the last two thugs, or at least was for the brief moments to took her to knock them out cold. A couple of well placed blows land with almost contemptuous ease, one guy lands in a dumpster, the other clatters into a pair of garage cans. This fight was only ever one sided.

He could almost taste the confusion.. maybe even terror. On one hand you got a woman taking down some of your strongest friends like they were little more than a couple of rag dolls. He chuckled to himself as he disappeared and reappeared he didn’t have raw strength... but sometimes it’s better to be untouchable.. and wear them down after all he didn’t really wanna hurt them. They technically never did anything wrong though he was positive that gun was illegal. Not only that but he definitely wasn’t operating on any official business legal or otherwise... a whisper and smoke. Those where the only indicators that he was even ever there. He laughed this time a little louder. Just with her they never had a chance. He was just unnecessary. “Hope you don’t mind me Love, I never was good at mindin my business.”

You keep moving, and two more thugs hit the floor one thanks to you one from the woman. Even your quip seems to elicit a grin from her, something you've not seen all night, then something strange happens. The remaining two guys reach into their jackets pulling out what look like small syringes. There is a fluttering sound, a couple of loud pings and both syringes are knocked out of the thugs hands. Moments later a dark shadow lands in between them and they are down.
The shadow stands to reveal 'The Batman', large as life and twice as brooding, standing there in front of you.
He looks between you are then addressing the woman says
"Captain Dyre."

The woman approaches the two of you stooping briefly to pick up the two syringes. She addresses you first
"Mr Hawkin, Captain Jocelyn Dyre, GCPD. If you can give me a minute to deal with this I've been wanting a word with you."
She throws one of the syringes to batman who catches it deftly.
"Looks like your tip with right, what do you have?"
Batman pulls out a mini disc from his wrist device and hands it to the captain.
"This is everything I have on Strange. I'll analyse this and see what else I can find."
"Fine, if you can drop these guys off at the precinct when you are done. I'm pretty sure they'd prefer to tell people you beat them up than me so you might as well have the first shot at them."
And with that she pockets the other syringe and the mini disc, before she manages to turn to you Batman puts a hand on her arm.
"I know you think you know what you're doing with this team you're putting together, but they're not prepared for what is out there."
The Captains face goes hard looking him straight in the eye, clearly not cowed in the slightest.
"The city can't lean on you forever Batman, you can't do this forever. It has to learn to stand on its own, and it will."
He nods
"Then just remember, you don't have to do this alone."
Her face splits in a grin.
"Yea, take your own advice sometime."
His mouth twitches as if trying not to smile before they turn away from each other, him toward the crooks and her toward you.
"So, Mr Hawkin, I'd like to offer you your badge back, interested?"

Hawkins smiles a devilish grin his five o clock shadow blending in with Gotham’s night standing in contrast with his blond hair and allowing the little light around to reflect off his teeth. His eyes couldn’t contain his excitement from the fight.. or in part from meeting Batman and the sexy captain in one night. “Captain it would be my honor to serve the great city of Gotham once more but,... maybe before that I can escort you back home afterall what man could let Gal walk home by herself.”

Her mobile phone goes off and she swears.
"Every damn time.... I'm sorry, can you give me another minute..."
She answers her phone, and speaks quickly and quietly for thirty seconds before hanging up and punching in another number.
"Hi, John, you remember that favour I wasn't going to call in... Yea, one of my people's in trouble... Arkham Asylum, ask for officer Rodriguez. Yea, thanks."
With that she hangs up and turns to you.
"So, going back to your offer, can you transport other people, and have you ever been to the thirteenth precinct? I figure the deep end is a good place to start swimming right?"
You have been to the thirteenth, once, a while ago, spent time in their 'rec' area whilst you were waiting for a prisoner transfer. Could be better than just appearing in their main hall.

“Well not exactly what I had in mind Cap.” He winks at her as he approaches sliding a hand around the small of her back and holding her close. “It’s important that I keep contact during the process.” Before he even finished they were there. She might have felt a lurch in her stomach. Other side effects include possible dizziness, vomiting, temporary sight loss(no more than a few seconds), and ofcourse diaherrea. “How do you feel.” He’ll continue to hold her tell she does something about it.

You put an arm around her, pull her close and instantly know something is strange. A woman would normally feel pliable, even top athletes whilst strong are still human, holding her is like holding a piece of granite covered in skin. You are left in no doubt that she is inhumanly strong. Even so she is still light enough to lift into your teleport and you arrive in the Rec Room at the thirteenth precinct.
(OOC I'm assuming you were using strength, as we discussed a modifier has to modify something. Please join the others over in 'Welcome to the Neighbourhood'.)
