The priestess smiled. "Thank you. That's the kind of thinking that will draw favor from lady Dibella", she noted, winking at her. "So... I've mentioned the Nine and showed off some of their powers. Would you like to hear more about the others Divines, those most of the people in my world know as the Daedric Princes?"

"Yes please." She said sitting down at a table once you were dressed.

"Okay. So... I mentioned the Nine. The Daedric Princes make up the entirety of the remaining 17 Divines, although they are not recognized as such by many in my world, who prefer the easy, black-and-white way of describing them as evil and demonic. The truth, however, is quite different. You see, the Aedra and Daedra are essentially the exact same. The only difference is that the Aedra worked together, using their own essence to create my universe, whereas the Daedra remained for the most part outside of it. Hence why the former ones are regarded as Gods and not necessarily the latter... however, since they did not use a significant portion of their power to create my universe, the Daedra are actually more powerful, perhaps with the exception of Akatosh. Still... I view them all as equals, for the portion of power that the Aedra 'lost' still exist in the world they created, making them just as much a part of it as it is of them", Aurora explained.
"So, let's begin. First is Azura, the Mother Soul, Prince of Dusk and Dawn, who is associated with mystery, magic and prophecy. By the way, 'Prince' in the Daedra's case is a gender-neutral pronoun. And since they can all appear as they please, it's not really relevant anyway."
"Boethiah is the Prince of Deceit, Conspiracy, Treason and of unlawful overthrow of authority. He is also said to be one of the creators of a race known as the Dunmer, or Dark Elves."
"Clavicus Vile rules over Deals, Pacts, Power and Bargains. He is known for granting wishes to those who summon him, but will often twist those wishes if the person asking for it is not careful. He is pretty much never seen without his talking dog, Barbas."
"Then comes Hermaeus Mora. Prince of Knowledge and Memory, who knows nearly everything and seeks to learn what little he doesn't. Very alien in nature and in the forms he usually chooses to appear as."
"Hircine is the Prince of the hunt, the father of Werebeasts. He may seem bestial at first glance, but he is more honorable than most and favors bravery, determination and the love of the hunt. Many mortals actually worships him like the Nine."
"There's Jyggalag. The Prince of logical order and deduction, once one of the most powerful Princes as he could predict the moves and decisions of all other Princes before they even began doing any of it."
She paused, giving her friend time to take it all in.

Aurora smiled, before continuing.
"Then there's Malacath. He's the prince of the spurned and the ostracized, of curses and of the Sworn Oath. Malacath is the creator of Orcs, also known as Orsimer, and champions those who have been mistreated and ignored, even though many only see him as a ferocious warrior."
"Mehrunes Dagon is the deity of ambition, destruction and energy. While it is true that this may sound more evil-natured than many of the others, do keep in mind that sometimes destruction brings rebirth, and destruction can also include that of evil. Just like how a new, healthier forest might arise from one burned down in a fire, a better government might arise from one which fell from a bloody war."
"Mephala is the prince of unknown plots and obfuscation, of manipulation and discord. She also rules over lies, murder and seductive sex and seduction. She is known as the Webspinner and the Spider and loves interfering in the affairs of mortals."
"Meridia is one of the few Daedric Princes who is mostly seen as good, for she is the Prince of the energies of all living things, and hates the undead and all who would disrupt the flow of life. However, just like there is a good side to destruction... not all undead are evil, and some Necromancers have performed good deeds in the past just like other mages, so I encourage people not to be any more positively biaised towards her than negatively towards any other Daedra."
"Molag Bal is the God of enslavement, domination, the ensnarer of souls and the creator of vampires. Arguably one of the most 'actually' evil Daedra, but again, I would argue that all things can be used for good or evil, including domination and enslavement, and again, not all vampires are evil either. I have personally witnessed vampires who actually lived in harmony with humans, protecting them in exchange for blood, a society which worked very well and prospered more than most. As for all things, I encourage an open mind."
"Namira is the Prince of shadows, repulsive creatures and revulsion. She is the patron of cannibals and shares the domain of corruption with Molag Bal. She is also the patron of beggars and the forgotten children of the cold streets, once more proving that there are two sides to all coins."
"Nocturnal is the Prince of night and darkness, the patron of all things secretive and of thieves. Of course, there are as many servants of good who act under cover of the night as there are of evil, and thieves steal from both honest people and tyrants."
"Peryite is the Daedric Prince of Pestilence and the lower planes of Oblivion, where he is tasked with maintaining order. Said to be the weakest of the Princes even though he usually appears as a dragon. It is actually fairly mysterious as he doesn't appear often in known history."
"Sanguine is the Prince of hedonism, debauchery, indulgence, pranks and temptation. The patron of sinners, yet one of the friendliest and most open-minded of the Daedra."
"Sheogorath is the Prince of Madness and Chaos, unpredictability and nonsense. He challenges established order and political correctness at every turn, loves to mess with people, and even other Princes. In more ways than one... he is one of the most powerful Daedric Princes, and has toyed in the past with the likes of Molag Bal, Mehrunes Dagon and Hircine... and got away with it each time."
"Finally... Vaermina is the Prince of dreams, nightmares, evil omens and fear. While again, this might seem evil to most... many are those who pray to her to leave their dreams free from her influence for a peaceful sleep, or who avoided ill fates by paying attention to the nightmares she sends. As all mortals dream... all of them encounter Vaermina fairly often, whether they remember her or not."
She smiled warmly. "Any questions, or powers you'd like to see demonstrated?♥"

"I see... I don't agree with a few of them, but I do see the logic in what you are saying." She said. "Tell me do you have any reading material I could look at regarding the subject?"

(OOC: Yeah, me neither. Hence the reason why I mentioned in Aurora's challenges that she's either delusional or partly insane. XD I mean, defending Mehrunes Dagon's destructive nature as something that can be used for good is one thing, buy Peryite, Namira and Molag Bal are a LOT harder to put under a positive light, lol.)

"I'm... afraid not. All my books remained in my home back in my world, and I have no ability to bring forth books from other universes. I do, however, have knowledge of many, many such books myself, whose lore I never forget thanks to Hermaeus Mora. So... if you ever wish to learn more, I'd be glad to teach you directly", she suggested.

"I see. Thanks." Lucy said. "Ummm… Is there anyway you can teach me about.. bringing back the dead?" She asked. "I... I just want to see my friend one last time."

I'm... afraid I do not wield such power. That is strictly the realm of the Gods themselves, as opposed to a simple priestess such as myself. Although... if you wish to talk to him just one last time, perhaps I can help with that. Calling his spirit here is quite within my reach", she suggested.

"D-Destroyed? ...Who dared do such a horrible thing?!" the priestess exclaimed, shocked. "...The destruction of a soul goes against everything the Divines could possibly stand for, be they Aedra or Daedra!"
She seemed genuinely horrified and distraught at the news. "I... I'm sorry. If what you say is true... then I'm afraid there is nothing I can do to save him myself. But... even then, I swear that I will pray to the Divines to save his soul, if not bring him back altogether."

"Oh... I see. I'm... sorry to hear that. Still. I will pray to the Divines with all the faith I can gather in my heart. There is nothing the Divines can't do if they really want to, so if such is their will, destroyed soul or not, there might still be hope to at least let him enjoy an afterlife worthy of his life, if not be returned to life."

"That's quite possible, yes. Although I would attempt that in a more isolated location in case one of them decides to manifest in person. Let's not frighten the locals", Aurora suggested.
