(OOC: I'm mostly making stuff up for your combat team, ridiculousninja, as I had moderately vague physical descriptions of them... so I'm just saying what seems cool in my mind. Correct me if it displeases you.) ISSUE I
SHADOWS OF THE PAST
(Sindor, Wray, Zorto, Zara and Naijix) Zorto the Hutt led the way inside, with Zara Blacklight by his side, Naijix and Sindor following close behind as they made their entrance into the old, dusty ruins. Wray was right behind, leading a small group of people and two MagnaGuard IG-100 droids, the latter serving as his personal bodyguards and the former as additional muscle for their mission. The five stormtroopers Wray had called forth included the team leader Sergeant Drax Huckster; an experienced veteran of many battles and a well-traveled soldier. Linu Taruga, the second member, was especially smart and skilled with everything machinery, including weapons and droids. Jin Sung-Jin, the third commando, was one of the rarer female stormtroopers, and more of a computers/hacking specialist. Their traits were hard to distinguish at the time, as they were all wearing their armors. The two other members of the team were Gree Toothlip, a rough steel-eyed human male with a bad temper but a sharp eye, known to be an excellent sniper and an enthusiastic explorer. He was wearing a suit of Scout trooper armor, but kept his helmet off as he claimed he aimed better without it. And finally, Daniella "Danny" Gantree, a beauteous femme fatale whose looks seemed to clash with her actual skills as an exceptional demolition specialist and explosives enthusiast. She was also wearing the Stormtrooper armor, but had removed her helmet in the team's presence before. Still, even the loud-mouthed sniper remained silent at first as the group entered the base a bit further, the non-collapsed side of the entrance hallways leading to two different corridors. According to Wrays' holo projector, the one leading more directly to their objective was on their right. The one in front of them would lead to what used to be a secondary mineral treatment station. So far, the silence was thick and heavy, not a sign of life or active robotics, although several skeletons and broken droids could be seen in the rubble.
OOC: Okay, so Zara's ship landed, you guys got some equipment out of it if you want; but it's Zara's - and she will have to pay for them in Credits, so I want to know - and confirm before okaying - what you would have taken from her ship. Wray's droids and combat team landed on the planet minutes after he called them, allowing the team to finally enter it when they were ready, likely much to the relief of Zorto who was ready long before. XD

(OOC - Would have taken 4 ion grenades out of Zara's stash if that is ok?)
"Naijix, would cover me please? Wray, I'm going to check for networking circuitry may I suggest the Reaper scans for Droid control signals."
Sindor moved over to one of the droids and looked it over. It was well known that the CIS droid armies were hived through a central control system. If they did the same here it might be wise to target the control system first, gain control of the building and then move on down. It would certainly make salvaging a lot easier.
===============
Actions
Technology 6 - Check the droid to see if it was networked when it was active.
Melee Combat (Trained by Darth Vader): 6 (1 + Light Sabre 5 ) - into my defence should the droids start to move
Health 3/3 Energy 7/14 Defence 12 (reflexive dodge 3, armour 2, Shien/Djem So Style 1, Melee combat 6.)

Zara Blacklight
"Ouuh, nice kill bots. Your memory wiping them, regularly ?" Which was more of a rethorical question from Zara. She nearly passed, or rather not, officer training school so she knew. The Empire didn't trust droids, and Kill Bots were most certainly NOT an exception.
Personally, she liked droids getting rebellious, but that was just her "being weird". Her smile was as fake as it would get, but she didn't try hard to mask THAT. "So, eyes and ears open everyone! We don't know WHEN somehing's gonne pop out, but we do know THAT it is !"
.. "So.. what's your take on it Sin.."
Meanwhile her eyes were constantly "scanning" the proximity. Zara might be many things but careless she was not. And her watchful eye inspired her comerades in arms to do the same. Be Aware.. and not get surprised. ====
Action 1: 1 stone to statecraft Commander option -> 1 stone for those close by. For Sindor to analize/tech check the droid(s) For Najix to keep us safe (force field I guess ?) Wray to "notice things" Zorto to tank it (close, or ranged combat defence?) Any other people close by to dodge/evade whatever might come at us.
Action 2: 5 stones to black ops(int) careful to spot any, especially sudden danger/nasty surprise and inform her comerades accordingly. +1 from her sharp Zabrak Senses again. -> 6 to spot or more of her specialties apply (nasty surprises? was it ?) --- Health: 2/2 E-pool: 12/12 E-spend/E-Regen: 6/6
inni(agil) 5 def physical 7 = 5 (RD) +2(Armor) +2 vs heat Mental = 1
OOC: It's what those crackers are meant for. ;-) Ah.. right.. adding what SHE takes from her locker as well. *doing that right now*
.. took some stuff from her locker as well. Added in the ++s above the "locker" part. Also 'd recommend taking one of those Sensor Packs from her storage, unless Wray's team already has one with them. Most notably would be her taking the "pilot" suit and the cloak against the heat. + the tools..

"Huckster, establish a FOB here, nothing fancy but keep up communications and track our progress down, your our evac team. Taruga get over there and see if you can help Sindor glean some useful data maybe we can get sensors from the compound up." He looked around while answering Sindor. "To behonest I'm ninety percent sure your wasting your time trying to control any of them, the confederacy made a mistake in the early parts of the war by establishing central control mechanisms in their droids, after that they rolled out the super battle droids which have a secondary processing unit allowing them to operate independently. So even if we do have a control unit, we will need the codes for shut off or access and I doubt we have either. I'm more worried about destroyer droids to be honest. and to answer your question Zara.. no I don't. I like IG-100 BX3R and RZ3R just the way they are, but I would like to have them modified if they wouldn't mind, what do you think BX3R?"
Wray had with him an ion rifle? taken from Zara and 2 ion grenades plus his vibroblade, blaster rifle and utility belt with his flight suit.

"Okay, which way do we go Jorg'he? Which way do we go?" Zorto asked imitating a character from some holofilm about two ex cons trying to start a new life working on a Moisture Farm.

"Oh, just looking for options. That being said I'd love to see what Jin and the Reaper could do working in tandem against their control system, assuming it's active."
He was just looking for the network circuitry, not trying to activate it. He would disable all the droids sensors first before he did anything like that. They was no sense in letting the system know anyone was here if they could help it.
"As for my take. Well there is danger in here and as I can't sense it's source I'm guessing at droids. Which would mean battle droids, which means we have a duty to make they don't fall into the wrong hands. Which is to say anyone else's."

Naijix
Naijix walked, watching his surroundings as he always did. Going on in team was not his favorite activity, but they had practice that and it wasn't the first time they had to move together like this. He would need to get use to it in some way. As far as his scans had gone, there was a lot of corridors and tunnels. The ones they were aiming for were a lot further down, past that door. But then again, dead droids and metal pieces weren't just gonna re activate at random. Traps that could flare up and creatures that would have lurked in, that was what he was worried about.
He looked at his comrades, then said.
-I'll scout ahead...I'll let you know if there is anything dangerous...-
He would like that they let him do his job, after all, even if they were good at infiltrating places, he doubt any of them could actually hide in plain sight.
-Sindor, I'll be in Defel mode...-
Then without another warning, Naijix disapeared from sight and went on his way, entering the right tunnel, which, according to Wray's scans, was closer to their destination. While using his cloak, Naijix was also listening to anything these old ruins had to say and would let the darkness guide his path to his goal. He knew the dark side could be tricking him, thus he was careful not to let it control him also.
----------------------------------------------- 5 in Use the force, Force Cloak and sense Force to blend in the Force and guide myself to avoid danger or feel them in order to let my comrades know if their is something they should be careful about.
5 in black ops, stealth, infiltration, to not make sounds and get in silently.

"What the ... " Zara blinked, even rubbed her eyes at the sudden .. disappearance of Najix. "Didn't know he could do that... Well.. shouldn't be too surprised. Guess I can expect some more aces up our sleeves." She finished.

Wray turns to Sindor, "Is he going to be doing that often? going on by himself I mean. Anyways, I know it may seem odd that I want to salvage droids so I figured I might expose my plans. I've gathered enough from you all that droids can't be sensed or atleast not very well with your abilities. I want to use droids to lure jedi into a trap. Also they are more disposable than Stormtroopers."

"... .... Well, .. you could always just .. buy some of that's the case. Or let someone do that for you. As for the less legal models .. there's always the black market, or some shady company looking for a little extra pay.
And .. there IS someone who is pretty good at these .. black market deals. Just sayin' ..
But yeah, I like free parts as well. Same with prisoners. Their a lot easier to get anything useful out then a corps after all. But if it's our life or theirs' ..

"He's comfortable working alone...." said Sindor as he took the Droid appart. "... So, yes. But I'm.... happy to help with your plans."
Sindor continued to work as he talked. Seemingly practiced at dismantling droids.
"Plus giving the Reaper... Wider functionality... Would.. Be... Interesting."
"Also I have a little project I'd like to try out, so I might need droid spares."

A quick examination of the destroyed droids confirmed what history had hinted at: CIS droids entirely dependent on remote control systems had ceased to be after the earlier battles of the Clone Wars. While those droids could benefit from such a system, they did not need it. However... Sindor did find out that a secondary control system existed within the base itself. The signal was still active within the droid 'brains', meaning the system was still operational.
Luckily, aside from the young former Zeison Sha benefitting from her support, Zara's careful watch of her surroundingsproved so far unnecessary. No threat in sight... yet.
"Yes, sir", was all the Sergeant responded to Wray's command, quickly giving commands to his teammates to establish a quick perimeter around the group, spotting the possible entrances and exits and keeping an eye out for any visible threat, while Taruga took a closer look at the droids with Sindor, although it was a bit late to help him with what the young human had already discovered.
The MagnaGuard droid identified as 'BX3R' glanced back at his master, pausing. "Modified how, sir?"
"With all due respect, I'd say we're running the risk of earning the ire of others if we keep dealing with droids the way we have", Jin said, audibly amused by the situation. "People won't like it if we have too many of them running around on the ship."
"Could sell'em to the Hutts. We got a good contact right here", Toothlip said, glancing at Zorto.
"Put a sock in it and keep your guard up", Huckster interrupted dryly.
Meanwhile, Naijix advanced in the partly collapsed corridor, silence his only companion for a solid 40 meters, until he reached a sealed door on his right, and a partly collapsed corridor ahead. It wasn't too badly obstructed, though, so some effort would likely free the way.

"We should probably Ion or otherwise disable any intact droids we run across." Zorto said. "I've seen enough holofilms to know that all it takes is one trap to send every remaining droid in this facility on a frenzy." Zorto said grabbing on of the Ion grenades on his bandolier just in case.

"I agree with Zorto. However the central control system is still active and sending signals so we should be able to locate it. Using that could the Reaper detect numbers and dispositions of Droids with her sensors?"
"Whatever we do with the Droids afterwards we need to get past them. I'm wondering if we could use their network to draw them out into a trap?"

To BX3R “sensor upgrades some weapons, if you have any recommendations I will highly consider them, after all I’m asking you to protect my life.” He was amused with the commandos banter.
He turned to Sindor,”I’m sure we can cook something up. But I imagine we have to plug directly into the control unit then reroute the signal to the Reaper.”
