Feel free to try something different that you haven't quite done before.

Basically my character doesn't have a body and is stuck in a ghost like form. He can only communicate while possessing a phone or other machines. Also why he can easily hack computer and get information in this kinda way.

You ever had one of those situations where you have an amazing hook for a character but can't figure out the cad and an amazing dad for an entirely separate character but can't figure out the hook? Annoyingly that's where I am right now.

Oh god I know that so very well. I think I'm managing to get a hook for my character.
I notice Andrew tends to be ok with large numbers of players so might it be a good idea to sort out links between our characters?
I think I'm probably going to go with my charisma based character so quick description
Name of Morrigan Adams, had her memory wiped for anything pre 13. Was rescued by the Xmen from a cult who were worshipping her. She main super power is supernatural charisma (innately high social and telepathy). Xavier and resident female telepaths basically rebuilt her mind. He learned Ninja from Psylocke and left the institute at 18. She went and got an agent and was an instant world wide celebrity a few months later starring in a couple of films. She very publicly lost her first love to a Terrorist (Anti-mutant) bombing after which is started publicly speaking out about Friends of Humanity links to terrorism (they hate her). She then lost her second love to a murderous fan stalker, after which she volunteered for the Xfactor initiative.
Anyone want to link in?

My character already shares part of her past with any returning characters, but besides that she has moved from the X-Men to Emma's Hellions before things were south and she ended entangled in the mess of the Weapon-X program. The pitch includes a (very) abridged version of her past, so if anyone's interested: A professional interview? Sure, that reminds me of something.
I remember those questionnaires in high school. Where do you see yourself in five years? By then I was already skipping school quite a bit, doing my own cooking show, so it was a kind of easy question to answer. I saw myself doing a big show, bringing the pleasure of cooking to everyone, being more famous... and even if I didn't admit it on paper, maybe having a steady girlfriend? Of course, the sixteen year old me didn't expect for her powers to flare out in a prank show, turning into a literal fireball and thrashing things. It didn't take long for a bunch of us to get together in a recruiting rally of sorts, a moment that didn't seem all that important then ended up being a turning point for the last half of the decade. A line on the sand was drawn, some of us ended with the Brotherhood, others like me with the X-Men. Even today I wonder what could have gone different that day, and even what has been of some of those naive kids.
Look, maybe I wasn't exactly X-Men material, but I sure wasn't going with the Brotherhood, that much I knew even then. My teen self was more of a hothead than me, but she could still call bullshit when she saw it, and Wyngarde was bullshit. Excuse me for the language, it still gets me a bit riled up. I didn't stay with the X-Men for long, I'm sure that you have all sort of details in your file. I don't want to diminish the importance of what I did, but I can't be telling my story forever and you already know most of it, of that I'm certain. The thing is that we got attacked during a Hellfire party and while I wanted to save people- and I did save people, don't forget that, I... I also ended up sending a helicopter down and killing a man.
After that... something changed. It was like I couldn't be a kid anymore, it wasn't about picking teams with colorful costumes, it was about picking sides on a war. Luckily for me, or maybe not as much depending on who you ask, Frost was there to help me. And she did help, even if she was a manipulative- sigh. She did help, okay? Who knows where I would be if back them I didn't go with her. It was another turning point, our trips with her, our exposure to that monster... No, not her, the Shadow King I mean. The one that messed it all back on the island. Things went only downhill from there, nothing was the same for mutants after that.
The thing is that I have always wanted to do my best, and I feel that such a thing isn't going to happen going back to San Francisco to cook with my parents. Sure, I love that, but it's a life that almost feels fake for me. I can't go back to be that girl, not anymore. Some would probably think that I'm even more of a naive woman for believing in the government to fix this... but I do. Specially after what happened with the Weapon-X program and what they did to me? One had to be crazy to trust you. Yeah, yeah, I get that it wasn't an officially sanctioned thing, I'm not stupid, but the point stands, it's the thing about responsibility. Back then we didn't feel accountable, at least I didn't, and the one that chastised me for the things I did was myself. Not the adults, busy with their agendas, but me. And now, five years after that, this is the result.
So you know who I am. Rosario Ramirez, as it says on that big file you got there. You can call me Rosa, or Fireball of course. Did I get the job or what?

Born Hunter Drake but taken at birth and named Gavri Chekhov and sold on the black market to a Russian family. At 12 years old his mutant powers manifested and do to the laws for Mutants in Russia, he was abandoned. He wondered for years learning about his abilities which were mainly telekinetic but he could create a force Field, has some strong telepathic ability, and can create weapons of Psionic power. Magneto found him and recruited him into the Brotherhood in charge of persuading new mutants to join the cause or make sure they couldn’t get in the way.

Ooh. I can definitely see a scene where your character and Magneto come to Morrigan's appartment and tries to talk her into joining the brotherhood. She explains her point of view that humans are not the problem, that a war with humans is counter productive, humans believe what they are told to believe by the media. It is the media barrons who are provoking a war with mutants that are the problem. You leave having had tea, buscuits and feeling like you're not quite sure who is the enemy anymore.
Work for you?

i guess since we are sharing background info...
Randy is ex military. He was discharged against his will. He has done some underground cage fighting. Basically illegal black market fights. He's serving on X-factor because he doesn't have a better choice, it's either that or a lot of prison time. Not exactly a do-gooder, boy scout background.

Might as well.
Jazz, was a bartender and a cook with many talents, talents that didn’t go unnoticed. He was approach to have his own show on tv and found himself winning many contest that only grew his popularity. Being young and talented with a good looking face to that, he had the life of his dream. Money, popularity and good looks, what could he ask more?
But said popularity got him the jealousy of others and what was suppose to be only a prank to have him lose his standards, turned out to be a lot more dangerous, costing him his life, or so he thought. On the verge of death, his powers suddenly activated and he found himself in the astral world, while his body was burn to a crisp because of the sudden explosion of the gaz tank he was using for his show.
It wasn’t before later that he got stuck into the cellphone of the very policeman that was investigating his case that he was found again, when his other mutant powers got on. Jazz could enter any electronics device or machines and gather any data or informations about it while inside. Now without any flesh, he collaborate with the police on solving crime, using his powers to undermine the underworld informations network with his very peculiar set of skills.
His existence been kept a secret from most people in order to keep their trump card secure, only the police officers are aware of his role and implication. While still a civilian, Jazz is officially dead on the register.
Thus, he was given the code name Specter.
