Well Captain Marvel is my first Choice if we are doing big names since I’m already playing the flash in another game. My list would be as follows 1. Shazam/Captain Marvel 2. Blue Beetle 3. GL 4. Maybe Plastic Man? There are others but this is my short list that would make sense Shazam is fine, I just don't think we need two flying bricks, so I'll go another direction. It actually helps me narrow my ideas down

Wrote some background and sent it in a PM. Including it here in case someone feels curious, spoilered to save space. I've always been a vivid dreamer, someone with the head on the clouds if you listened to my mother, a wonderfully imaginative yet easily distracted student if you asked my teachers. Imagining different worlds, epochs and lives while awake, dreaming of strange adventures when asleep, my otherwise dull life has always been full of color. Long ago I started keeping a diary with sketches and- "Kendra!" -with sketches and annotations just to have an outlet for it. Tried to draw comics or write books about what went through my mind, but always- "Kendra!" -but always felt so fragmented, blurry and nonsensical. There was also the fact that often was a man in my stories, the athletic and daring kind, a wish fulfillment kind of- "Kendra!" "I think she's calling for you, miss" an elderly man with an amused smile said, tapping on my shoulder. "On the account that she's staring at you like she was your mortal enemy" he added, pointing at the barista holding the coffee I ordered. "Ah! Thanks!" I hurriedly said, before approaching the counter. "Sorry Julie, I don't know what's with me today" apologized, offering a weak excuse. "You have been coming here for a while, so I'm gonna guess that the same as always?" she laughed, her glare disappearing, accustomed to my airhead self. "I guess" shrugging before taking the so much needed coffee, maybe that would help me getting sharp. "It's getting worse lately" I admitted with a heavy sigh. "You need to stop dreaming of men that don't exist and get yourself a boyfriend, even if he doesn't measure up to some kind of fictional idea you have in your mind. I'm totally getting you out for drinks tonight" Julie swore. "Fine, fine..." I reluctantly agreed, a blush on my face. "Gotta run, see you later!" added before bolting out with my coffee, trying to not arrive late to what seemed to be my fourth job in a couple of months. With how distracted I've been lately, the patience of my bosses was tested more than usual, so it was a nuisance. ... "Kendra!" the angry voice shouted, bringing me out of a particularly deep reverie. Something was wrong, I could feel it in my bones. Maybe I was sick? Did I have something serious? I felt fine- "You're fired!" the voice added, another job into the bin, so I hurried outside, in need of fresh air. I did feel fine, beyond the distractions, the images... As if prompted, I could feel a headache that made me stumble along the narrow service alleyway I've almost sleepwalked into. No, I couldn't be sick, I've never been the kind to get sick when little and... well, I couldn't afford it so- A biting back pain made me double upon myself, kneeling on the ground, palms against the concrete. It felt like I was being torn open, I could even hear a metallic sound rasping against the brick walls of the alleyway, but I couldn't focus my eyes. Hands clawed in pain and suddenly it stopped, but I still couldn't see beyond the blur. A metallic tinkle sounded as I removed my glasses to check if they were broken, and the fact that I could see perfectly without them occupied a secondary thought as I stared at my clawed right hand holding the glasses. It was covered in golden metal, same as the left one that was holding a fistful of concrete that I seemingly tore from the ground. I managed to get up, looking baffled at my hands as they felt incredibly weird and yet so familiar. The metallic sound at my back made me turn, only to make it worse as the source of it sent pieces of brick wall flying around, making me stop and turn my neck at the shiny glare. There was something like a wing made of metal, gold and silver, another one on the other side and... they were attached to my back? The mere idea startled me, and even I didn't move, the wings did, as reacting to thoughts I barely had. Trying to control my breath, the metallic things started to fold, reducing their- not, my wingspan. Reaching back I could feel that my clothes were torn and that those things melded perfectly with my skin.
For a moment I thought it was one of my dreams, even if it was a poor rationalization, and the claws and wings were painlessly gone, as they never had been there if it wasn't for the destruction I had caused in both the alleyway and my clothes. I felt fine, better than ever, as it wasn't just my eyesight what had improved, also my hearing seemed sharper and I felt in top form. I had to get home, I had to research this and... maybe call Mom? No, I didn't want to scare her and cause a country-wide trip. Whatever this was, I had to try to deal with it on my own, even if I felt it was far from over...

So since we've got Shazam and Hawkgirl potentially, I think I'm going to build a version of Booster Gold based on the idea that, since they've killed him off in multiple different "realities" within the DC multi-verse, and due to his time and reality hopping shenanigans in the past, each Booster that dies becomes part of a core version that is tied to the multi-verse in a manner similar to Darkseid. He's going to be pretty much standard Booster powers-wise, but the shtick for the character is that he's an amalgam of multiple incarnations, and its difficult for him to keep straight in his head which reality he's dealing with (i.e. he "knows" a number of wildly different varying personalities and backstories for guys like Superman, GL, etc).

Inspired by MCR's fiction up there... I have an alternative idea that I'm really keen on assuming Dhark isn't planning to play The Bat. Batman somehow foresaw the coming crisis (maybe the bit above actually takes place years before?), and disappeared. In the years he's been missing, he challenged and conquered Ra's Al Ghul and finally took his place as the Demon's Head, knowing full well that he would pay the price eventually, he's "powered up" at the (eventual) expense of his sanity. He's already decided that win, lose, or draw, this is his last rodeo, and he's determined to finish things on his own terms.
I imagine him as middle aged and aware that his body is (or was, before he used the Lazarus Pit) starting to fail him. As always, he believes that he (and basically ONLY he) has the vision to guide the other heroes through the coming crisis, and because he feels his legacy will be cemented once and for all here, he's more adamant than ever about doing things "the right way."
I feel like this could work nicely alongside Shazam's youthful enthusiasm, and probably ruffle Hawkgirl/woman's feathers (pun intended) as she's a warrior in her own right and might not appreciate Batman's views on lethal force and/or his treating her like a subordinate.
This idea works EXCEPTIONALLY well if Superman has somehow been killed beforehand; although Batman would never acknowledge it, he's always seen Superman as the ultimate "backstop" against any crisis, and without that safety net, Batman feels his own sense of certainty slipping away...

Badass Ted, that’s awesome!
No claims on The Bat from me... I figured playing him in your Gotham game is enough (plus I’ve always been more of a Grayson fan).
I’m still brainstorming on who I want to play.

The one thing I’ll throw out there is that I do imagine this as sort of like a Dawn of Justice type event where the heroes don’t really know anything about one another except maybe tall tales or whispers and rumours. There is a reason even mass media outlets like the Daily Planet have never heard of Captain Marvel or Dr. Fate, why the Lantern Corps don’t know Wonder Woman or Aquaman, and why Batman has to look within Arkham’s walls rather than tap his hero contacts to get his first glimpse at something bigger coming, something that ties these strands together.
And this is something of a genesis event for the Justice League. Something that rips the comic characters out of their own titles and brings them under one shared umbrella. So while they might have heard of one another it’s almost like before the event, what’s happened to one family of characters has never really affected another. Like they exist almost within their own bubble universe and the membrane walls of that bubble are gradually stretching so that they can cross over and between.
Think of this as sort of a direct sequel to Infinite Crisis, taking place in the throes of DC’s soft reboot following it.

That really puts a cramp in my Batman concept, but could possibly work fine with my Booster Gold idea, since Booster won't necessarily know these versions of the characters, and is likely to be taken for a nut even if he does happen to be right about something.

Haven't really came up with an angle yet I am a BIG fan of the Trinity of Sin concept from about 2013 or so, and The Question could be a really interesting fit in this game, though there may be more than one running around.

I think I’m going to go with a little older Captain Marvel 15 or 16. He idolized Superman for years feeling like Superman was lonely like him.

The more I am thinking about it the more I am leaning towards the Question or Jason Blood. I $#@!ing hate this speech. Of all the completely wrong-headed, asinine things Quentin Tarrantino has had his characters say in the movies, this is by far the worst. It is exactly 180 degrees from the truth. Superman DOES NOT disguise himself as "weak" because he thinks humans are weak. Superman IS the disguise, Clark Kent is the real guy (and furthermore, ONLY in the 70's era movies is Clark a wimpy little dork, in every other portrayal Clark is a pretty manly guy). Superman DOES NOT look down on humanity. The single most important aspect of his personality is that he's the most human of all of DC's menagerie of high powered godlings.

Yeah but it sounds like Sups and Bats have been around and are atleast known. Billy may not know much but my premise is he can recognize that Superman is alone just like him and that makes him idolize him as a hero.

I can always change the time or scrape the sups idolization if MCR has other ideas
