(OOC: Posting what we have so far. Will write Rowena's name atop the posts she made, the others are mine.)
The gentle light of the sun bathed Rowena Kaladyel in its warmth, as the days of Spring finally brought back with them the green tree leaves and plentiful grass of the valley, along with the laughter of the children of her hometown of Halidor village, a small hamlet of woodcutters, hunters, farmers and fishermen. The red-haired elf was sitting atop a large stone, itself standing at the highest point of a cliff overhanging the village and providing her with the best sight of the area surrounding it, one of her favorite spots to hang around when she needed to relax.
The girl was the only daughter of the only elven family in the village, and she could not remember how long they had lived there. Decades, according to her parents... but a riding accident about a decade and a half ago had caused her memory to fail her, seemingly erasing much of her past recollections. Still, she was happy there, and had never felt alone. Her parents were very caring and devoted, and she had very good friends in Trevor, a local scoundrel with a heart of gold and enough nimbleness and agility to rival an elf, and Helena, an illusionist with a playful sense of humor and a tendency to misbehave using her mystical skills. Not forgetting her faithful companions, Nocturna the owl... and the large, greyish-white wolf sleeping by her side.
She watched as children played various games in the streets below, while the hardy and hard-working men of the village were readying their tools and horses to begin working the fields and head into the forest once more, with their wives, sisters and daughters holding the fort in their absence. Such a peaceful life, as always.
As she watched the events unfold below, a curious fox drew near, seemingly drawn by the elven girl's presence so close to the trees and the stream behind her.
