Any nominations for the best game we've ever had?
I'm reading through the archives of "Body Count" and its great reading. So what game do you think was the best?

I dunno about the best game that this board has EVER had, but I'd like to throw two at you: 1) I know that the best game that I ever played in was the Dark Avengers game ran by Andrew! That game was amazing! 2) ...And not to toot my own horn, but I honestly think that the original run I did with Marvel: World War was very, very good. I believe a lot of the guys who were around at the time can attest to that!

Hmm nominations... The OG Guardians game by Dk. Another was DK's New Mutants game. There was an Age of Apocalypse game that was going on for a long time that was amazing...

The two I would consider my favorites were Avengers Academy (I really liked the whole student-teacher dynamic that was going in that one) And the Final Fantasy game (Because that one had one of the single most unique stories I have played here)

For me, that would be the Soul Eater game, which got 3 seasons, masterly set by Ushima! It was intense and really fun! Even if I foiled a few of his plans! Hi hi

For me either of the games I was in with Manticore running it. All the people I have played with have been great but 1:1 games are my favorite and his had depth and ran for ages

I've been and I'm in many lovely games that I adore, including some already mentioned here. True classics of the board. If I had to pick one, unfair as such a thing can be as there are a lot I love, I'd have to go for Ushima's Soul Eater Season Two.

I think my favorite games here were either TWF's New Mutants game or Andrew's Thunderbolts game (among many others). The Guardians was an absolute pleasure to run and if I run a game it's on the shortlist of ones I'd pitch.

For me either of the games I was in with Manticore running it. All the people I have played with have been great but 1:1 games are my favorite and his had depth and ran for ages One of Manticore’s last games that dealt with a sci-fi setting of the Marvel Universe was DEFINITELY among my favorites. I really wish our archives went back that far. He had some wicked cool stuff I wish I could remember clearly in that setting. Waaaaay back when, Sphyhx and I ran some 1602 games. His were a bit more thought out than mine, but I enjoyed them both! One of the first Exiles games on here... OLW/Psy was running it I think. Lots of fond memories of those days. Andrew’s AoA game was SPECTACULAR! Definitely held that hard edge atmosphere of hopelessness and impending death/failure. Truly brought my favorite Marvel setting to life for me. TWF’s AtLB game. You made me learn a new MRPG system for it, and that system played AtLB better than any I’ve ever seen since— and MUCH better than the “new Marvel” it was supposed to be. WK’s 313-verse is ALWAYS good time. ESPECIALLY when he let’s me play certain characters he otherwise dislikes. DK... a GM that has brought me back to these boards again and again. I know many of you loved his goofier silver aged stuff (not my bag tho)... but me? I liked the grittier NeXt-verse stuff. It may have been nostalgia for those games that brought me back here tonight, surfing archived threads for some feel goods.
