"O... Kay." Kurumu said. "And why do we want this gold then? It sounds more like we should vacate this whole region of ocean, and put up signs warning all to turn back." She said confused.

Cero shrugged, smirking. "I eat Mayan mages for breakfast. I could counter-curse those guys so bad they'll feel it all those years in the past, so we don't actually give a damn about the curse. Gold and gems and jewels are nice, and worth an absolute fortune once we get rid of the curse. Also, aren't we a bunch of do-gooding white hat heroes? ...Pissed-off undead and haunted ships messing with people sounds right up our alley, doesn't it?"
"There is no living dead my fire can't burn", Stella said, folding her arms. "I fear no revenant. Er, no offense, Shizu-chan."
"None taken."
"I'll protect you, Kurumu-chanā„", Mizore teased playfully, hugging the succubus.

"Okay I'm sold." Kurumu said. "So what do we do? It doesn't sound like these ghosts are just gonna swim up to the beach and meet us to parlay."

"They are supposed to manifest only at night, on foggy or stormy days, or when someone gets too close to the treasure they guard, So we could look for the treasure and face them right away", Cero explained.
"How are we going to find it?" Minx asked.
"I can turn into a dolphin and look around the island's depths", Chelsea suggested.
"I could do the same in my dragon form", Stella said with a nod.
"Maybe I could attempt to sense echoes of the dead to locate it?" Nova theorized.
"My sensors can be adjusted to locate specific materials such as gold and gemstones", Kos-Mos said with a nod.

"Good ideas... But I can cover the most ground fastest." Kurumu said diving in the water, and bolting across the ocean at 800 MPH diving as needed to find the treasure.
30 stones in swimming to move at over 800 MPH, and dive up and down as needed to search underwater.
30 stones in Int to try and find the treasure.

The others were left staring in astonishment as Kurumu bolted away at formidable speed.
It took her... about 3 minutes to locate the sunken ruin that once was the USS Valiant.

(Does that mean I get 5 more points in stamina for using so many stones for 3 minutes?)
Diving down Kurumu began pushing the submarine towards the island's shore.

(OOC: Not quite. It was still a single panel, and a panel can have a varying duration. ^_^ Beginning to see what I meant when I said my original Gamer rules were OP? XD ...joking aside, the USS Valiant is not a submarine, it was sunk by a submarine. It was, however, underwater, lol.)
Kurumu successfully and easily raised the sunk WWII gunship from the bottom of the sea, which was heavily damaged from its final battle and the decades it had spent underwater. Interestingly enough, however, as she would soon discover, the actual sunken ship itself had little to do with the actual haunting... as soon enough a thick fog raised in mere moments on the sea, clearly supernaturally so... and yet another USS Valiant, far more sinister and unnatural than the actual long sunk warship, soon appeared amidst it.
The others could be seen running or flying to catch up with Kurumu, but would need a short while to catch up given how far she had made it.

Interestingly enough, it seemed the ghost ship was at least semi-solid, as it got hit hard... when Kurumu threw an honest-to-God, freaking World War I allied gunship wreck with her bare hands.
...Much to the astonishment of all of her friends; - even Cero seemed impressed.
"So, um... remember when we said to remind us not to piss you off? Let's change to to 'not to even mildly irritate you'", Travis said, smiling.
As soon as he was done speaking, the ghost ship opened fire at its former real wreck swiftly sunk back down. Mizore raised a large ice shield, which was soon shattered by the incoming shells.

(Wait isn't Luvia there too?)
Kurumu opened up her Battlezone. "So you like to blow stuff up. Me too!" She said unleashing a massive cannon volley.
7 eff in Battlezone to open such things.

The battlezone manifested without any problem, just as Kurumu essentially began to exchange cannonballs volleys with the ghost ship's supernatural version of more modern guns, proving surprisingly effective despite the aforementioned ghostly nature: her cannonballs impacted the ship's hull badly, causing solid damage and even punching through in several locations like an armor piercing bullet through thin steel. The ship responded in turn, however, and soon enough Mizore's shield could not take it any longer, breaking apart, and causing the young heroes to take somewhat of a beating. (OOC: Kurumu takes 3w of damage, or 8r! ...Horrible, I know. XD)
The others in general managed to steel themselves against the worst of it, with a couple of exceptions. Despite a last second attempt at ducking to avoid the nearest explosion, Natsuru was bloodied and bruised by it nonetheless. Shizu was badly hit as well, actually losing an arm - which wasn't as bad for a Revenant than for a human, although it had clearly hurt like hell. Minx would likely have been blown to bloody bits had Luvia not used her powers to shield them both, which lessened the impact to both girls being blown off their feet and slamming back into the sand.
`"...Khhh... a-alright, that was... rather unenjoyable", Shizu said as she gritted her teeth, just as the undead crewman of the ship began appearing around them, seemingly manifesting out of the unnatural fog washing onto the shore.
"Let's do this!" Nova said, unleashing her psychic powers to telekinetically slam some of the monsters.
"You got it!" Travis responded, going Shinso vampire form, his eyes red and hair silver, as he grabbed one of the monsters and slammed it so hard into the ground it essentially vaporized from the impact... with everyone else engaging the undead around them.
Everyone except Kos-Mos, who stood by Kurumu's side. "...I shall assist you against the enemy ship", she said very casually, as she manifested large triple miniguns, one held in each hand, as though it was nothing. "Let us destroy it with haste", she said as she unleashed a seemingly endless storm of explosive, armor-piercing bullets, which, while they didn't have the sheer power of Kurumu's attacks, were certainly more than able to cause more than their share of damage.

Much to everyone's amazement - except perhaps the undead - Kurumu shot right throught the ship like nobody's business, leaving a huge, gaping hole behind, sinking the ship quickly before it dissolved into thin air as though it had never existed, leaving only the undead on the beach fighting her friends! A battle that was pretty much won in advance given how fast they were wiping out the monsters, but there were still plenty of them if the succubus felt like joining the fray.

Not one to just let herself be undone. She dove back to the beach, and used her tail to bat away one zombie, while her claws dove in between zombie after zombie shredding them like tissue paper.
