Hi guys!
It’s me again, I’m gonna give this one last go. I know I have been away for long periods of time lately, but I’m still around and I’m thinking I can do this!
I want this game to update Once a week. Not twice, not thrice, once, so I can keep the pace and not rush myself out again. I’ll be updating most likely every Friday since its the day where I have the most free time! I would like to concentrate on the quality of this game instead of its speed for the story to feel more interesting and intense.
INTRO
THE OLD WORLD
The pokemon world is huge with many many species residing in every nook and cranny of the world, cities, forest, desert. They fill the world and make it a place of wonders. But such wonders can be tarnished, as war sometime rage on. In a world before pokeball even existed, trainers were known as Tamers, and used their own abilities to earn the companionship of those mythical creatures.
In Arisdell, there is a place of learning, where people gather to learn how to tame these monster and meet with their very first partner. There is no age to start taming pokemon and so, many go in hope to earn their place in the world of tamers. But not all succeed in earning the trust of a pokemon and many fails and return home empty handed. In this age and era, some people have decided to use pokemon for evil, and as such, violence as erupted around the world, where pokemon can cause calamity, they are usually of a peaceful nature. These evil people are called the Dark Knights and they must be stopped.
WHATS THIS?
Yes, this game will happen before technology to capture pokemon exist. No pokeball, no super potion, you will have to gain the trust of the pokemon to have it battle at your side!
Setting: Think of this as a medieval version of pokemon. Cars, cellphone, etc dont exist and are replace by the use of pokemon in most of the case, think of this as people are using ponyta and rapidash to move around, Tauros to pull carts and so on. ANY technology pokemon related are considered ‘’magic’’ and ‘’ancients’’ civilisation.
But HOW WILL I CARRY THEM? They can walk by your side, and another option will eventually become available to carry more of them around, but that will be unlocked during the game!
WHAT DO I PLAY?
You will be playing as a new tamer (pokemon trainer) who has just arrived at the academy in Arisdell. You will not have any pokemon yet as you will need to get it in game, but no worries, that shouldn’t take too long.
You can be of any age, it’s ok.
I will take up to 3-4 players.
You’ll be starting with a 20 stone count + 10 challenges stones
Mystical abilities, like psychic and the such, are locked at AN 1 for now.
You can’t speak pokemon tongue yet, I consider this a special ability that need years of training to unlock. You can buy it and put it on your CAD, but it will unlock later.
Extra stone will be given for the following
A picture of your character
A Backstory including the following (family, story, reason why he wants to become a Tamer, an event including a pokemon.)
