Anyone watching this contemporaneously? I'm on the fence about waiting till it all airs or trying to catch up now. No spoilers please

I am enjoying it a lot, having Crisis on the CW makes me giddy on the level of Infinity War just by being, even if it's cheap and clunky. Funny, exciting and dramatic, weirdly paced though. If you wait until it all airs in January you're going to walk a minefield of spoilers all around the internet.

And it's over! It was a bumpy ride (not unlike the original comic) and the lack of a higher budget made it suffer, but they went through it better than I expected and I always will recognize that they dared to do it and they put all their heart into it. Amazing attitude and a soul that I'd love to see in the movies.

Episode three was my favorite. I was a Benoist doubter when she first got cast but she’s clearly the highlight acting wise of most of the crossover episodes I’ve seen and make me wish we could do a Supergirl game on these boards. Her chemistry with Gustin is undeniable and I wonder what will come of future crossovers especially with how the multiverse and ending got addressed. I am 1000000% on board regular Flash and Supergirl teamups.
The cameos were great. I didn’t always know who everyone was supposed to be until after I looked them up. But easily the best parts of the crossover for me.
Less optimistic about the planned spinoffs CW announced for Arrowverse. The crisis strained with the too-many-characters problem most of these stories have and I just worry having to build new worlds around spin-off characters will burden the universe even more, unless they can focus in on characters already in these shows.
Kate Kane was awful. I didn’t want to instantly hate her inclusion, but she’s basically to arrowverse what Carol Danvers was to Endgame. I also have no idea why she alone stands for courage over basically any other character in the multiverse or what she adds to the arrowverse in general. Barry could stand for courage and there’s a very prominent DC heroine who could stand for love that feels missing from the mother of all crisis crossovers with a movie coming out soon. Kate can stand for honor or destiny idgaf. Just feels tacked on and pointless. Black Lightning had a better character arc.

If Kate is revealed as the paragon of courage because she’s gay I may have to invent a way to double boycott her show. I honestly still don’t know what she adds to Arrow other than being a Batfamily lesbian.
