Professor Moriarty
"Likewise", Helena said, although they weren't exactly 'doing business' just yet. The woman had simply brought her employers' offer. Now what remained was to examine it and the virus through and through and see if she'd take it. Returning to her car with the briefcase, she got behind the wheel and drove back home. 3 in Vehicle Operations to drive back home.

Before anything, Helena sat down at her desk in her office to study Tricell's file and offer. 10 in Intelligence to study the file in detail for any information worth knowing from the file, and study their offer in detail.

The offer is simple improve upon the virus, and they'll pay you in the form of access to more and more powerful bio weapons.

Professor Moriarty
Moriarty was intrigued by the reward offered, wondering about those bio-weapons they were planning on offering her. Not that she actually wanted to destroy the world or anything; but it interested her from a scientifical viewpoint. She couldn't really say whether she'd take the job just yet; she still needed to examine the virus to figure out whether she actually had the knowledge and skill to improve it. Not that she doubted that she did, but she never assumed as opposed to confirm with evidence.
Taking both the file and the samples, she headed over to her lab in order to examine one of the samples. 12 in Technology to operate my lab equipment in order to examine the sample safely.
20 (Ef) in General Knowledge (Chemistry) +4 from Genius to figure out if I do have the ability to alter the virus the way Tricell wants me to.

You would need a quick crash course in genetic engineering to do so first.

"Hmph. You know what, why not", she said to herself, contacting Tricell via the info in their file to contact them in order to inform them she would take the job.

"Hmh. Very well... let's get to work", Moriarty said, using the first sample to begin her work at modifying the virus. 17 in Genetic Engineering +4 from Genius in order to work on modifying the G-Virus in two ways, namely it allowing the user to retain their mental capabilities and sentience, and granting its 'infected' the ability to morph back and forth at will. Will repeat stones as long as I need to modify it accordingly.

It takes 10 days of work, and uses up all but one of the samples, but you finally perfect it you think... You just need to test it.

(OOC: If you don't mind, she'd have gotten the mouse to test it on during the 10 days that passed.)
Professor Moriarty
The time had come for the first part of the final test. Namely, inject her little test subject with a tiny bit of her G-Virus β, as she liked to call her improved version of the Golgotha Virus. The advantages of injecting a mouse specifically were twofold. One, even with the mutations and fantastic regenerative capabilities induced by the virus, the creature would be much easier to kill than anything bigger. Two, mice were extremely cowardly creatures, which meant that - since her new version of the virus didn't alter the mind of the infected - the mouse would be just as scared and unlikely to attack even if it grew considerably stronger, also contributing with making it much easier to kill.
Moriarty took a small syringe with the tiny sample of the modified virus and carefully injected the mouse with it. She then waited a few minutes for the virus to take effect within its organism... and since the visual effects of the virus wouldn't kick in until the creature was injured, she... then proceeded to manifest a weak version of her magic gun... and shot one of the creature's legs off.
And watched the results, which normally should be a very fast regeneration of the wound along with a significant mutation of the creature. 7 in Medical Healing, 5 to carefully and properly inject the mouse with a tiny sample of my virus, 2 to make up for the fact that it's tiny and all that.
When I'm done with that, I'll wait for about five minutes to make sure the virus took effect (usually takes much less time than that, but just making sure to not have to start this again).
Then I will put 1 stone in Magic Gun to manifest a weak version of my gun, and...
4 stones (Ef) in Ranged Combat (Handgun, Precise shots, Handling recoil) +3 from Targeting, +1 from my gun; 5 to shoot one of the mouse's legs off, 3 in control to precisely shoot said leg.

The mouse shrieks as you blow away his limb, but it quickly grows back, larger and stronger hurling the mouse around and around the enclosure like a mini catapault.

Moriarty smirked, before proceeding to use a spell to disintegrate the small creature in one shot to prevent further regeneration and mutation, since her experiment was a success. 24 (Ef) in Sorcery, 1 for Range, 23 as an Attack to disintegrate the mutated mouse on a molecular level to kill it in one shot to prevent further regeneration and mutation.

Professor Moriarty
"...Promising. Now, only one final test remaining..." the redhead said, frowning, as she sat on her couch, with a normal-sized syringe holding the final sample of the modified virus.
Under ideal circumstances, one would have tested it on a disposable subject with with heavily armed guards under controlled circumstances in a safe environment. However, Moriarty had lost all the companies who would have been willing to perform such tasks for her thanks to Holmes... and she was a genius without equal, likely with the exception of Holmes. She was very confident in the success of the experiment, and given her close, hostile encounter with Trask and his Sentinels - and her surprisingly cordial rivalry/enmity with Homes - she figured she could use some more superhuman capabilities just in case. She was, in multiple senses, a perfect test subject. Who else could better tell if it was perfectly successful but the one who had designed it?
Taking a deep breath, she injected the virus in her arm after raising her sleeve up.
(OOC: Working on stats for it, by the way. I'm just using this opportunity to let you tell me if anything went wrong, lol.)
