Anyone have any PDF's of the three rpg books, because that would make things a lot easier, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. And please, don't leave me a link for a torrent, those don't work for me, just a PDF is what I need.

I'm sure he does. Unfortunately if anybody actually posed those kinds of links here, we'd be violating the TOS for proboards.

It's likely a copyright violation if someone had the books in pdf online at all. Even if they hosted other MURPG stuff on the same address. On the first forum I was ever a part of, people were perma-banned for even suggesting that someone should pirate things or that they had. It was very effective at drilling into my head not to pirate stuff off the internet. On the other hand, www.pandora.com is 100% legal. It removed all desire for me to pirate music off the internet.

So the person would need to contact him by PM to exchange E-Mails or something in order not to violate the TOS for proboards. At any rate, I'm sure the books can still be found at various places.

I think you have to remove the link.. As far as i know, which also has been mentioned in this thread, Proboard is against piracy.. Isen't sharing books as PDF's piracy?

I used my Acolyte power to delete the post with the link in it, as the link is (as Neros points out), a violation of this boards terms of service with proboards.

Incorrect. A copyright is still a copyright, whether the product is in print or not.

No, you can't download something that's been sold out.

If you say so... I just never made sense to me, after all- downloading is a crime against those who made it, not buying their product and downloading instead will hurt their income, but what if they cant make a profit of it anyway?
Nevermind, just thinking out loud... <crap, they always answer when I ask them not to>

Because the company can still make a profit from the product. They could choose to start publishing the books again tomorrow. Besides, look around Amazon, etc... there are still PLENTY of copies of the books out there. Sales of those books = profit to Marvel. Profit they won't get if you give the books away for free
