You don't know quite how it happend, but you are now in the middile of a large woodland. Castlevania stands behind you in all it's evil glory, then you spot a stanger walking up to you... A tall man in a red trenchcoat and hat.
"Why this is strange.... You have the smell of a being practically like myself." He says with a sinister grin.

Cautious, and unsure of what exactly was happening, Soma took a step back, looking at the stranger.
-... who are you? Did you bring me here?
As far as he knew, moments ago, he was sleeping on his couch, while Mina was checking her e-mails on the internet in his room. What was he doing in this strange place? And why was he back in front of Castlevania? Last time he had left it, it was on a mountain, covered in snow... But that didn't matter at the moment. Something about the stranger bothered him... something wasn't right.
-You're not... human, are you?

"Alucard"... the name reminded Soma of something. It reminded him of Genya Aricado's name, the one man who had led him to his destiny when he first entered Castlevania. However, he had never heard of Hellsing... except for the old guy in Bram Stoker's book.
-Hellsing organization?... never heard of them. Still... nice to meet you. My name's Soma Cruz.
Somehow he felt like he was right about the link between Bram Stoker's book and Hellsing. Could it be...?
-Tell me, this "Hellsing organization", it wouldn't happen to be some kind of... occult research group or something?

He was pretty sure he hadn't met him before. Or maybe... maybe he was another member of Celia Fortner's cult? That didn't seem right... Alucard then reaches up to an earpiece. "What is this? Don't kill him now? As you wish my mistress." He then looks at you. "You are lucky my Mistress believes what you have to say."

Soma sighed, relieved. He hated to fight people he considered as potential allies, like he once did with Julius Belmont.
-I'm glad to hear that she does... though I'm sorry that you don't. I'm not used to telling lies, and if I can prove that I speak the truth to you, I will.
Soma looked back at Castlevania, still unsure of how he had gotten there and why it wasn't in the same place it used to be... but this was not the time to think about this. He nodded, then asked:
-So... what now? I'm guessing your 'mistress' wants to talk to me in person to decide wether I can be trusted or not?... I have nothing to hide. I'll be glad to answer her questions if necessary.
Additionally, maybe they could help him understand what had just happened, and maybe he could contact Mina with their help. Because there were no phones inside Castlevania, obviously... Soma smiled at this thought, and looked at ALucard, waiting for his answer and ready to follow him.

-I don't know... I had a strange feeling about you when I saw you, but I couldn't tell why exactly. You remind me of a man I know of, a certain Genya Aricado... but what do you mean? Are you related to Dracula somehow? Or maybe are you one of the Belmont family?
That could have made sense... maybe the strange feeling he had about him was that of a vampire hunter like the Belmont. But Julius had never told him about other Belmont aside from himself...

Though this obviously wasn't the kind of answer he expected, being who he was and all, Soma didn't react half as much surprised as he should have.
-But... how is that possible? You said it yourself... I am basically Dracula, myself. How can there be two?

A different universe... could it mean that he wasn't stil in the same world he knew of? Or maybe it was Alucard himself who wasn't from this world? But then again... his mistress was there too... so it made more sense to assume Soma himself wasn't where he should have been.
-I guess it makes sense... it's me, isn't it? I'm the one who's not in his world. That's why there are two of us.
In a sense, he guessed things weren't so bad. After all, back in his own world, Genya Aricado, Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades were there to help protect the world against supernatural threats... Unfortunately, it was possible that he wouldn't see Mina again. For all his power and despite how many monster souls Soma had absorbed, he did not possess a power that would allow him to get from a universe to another. Not yet anyway.
-Alucard... if your mistress trust me enough, and you guys don't mind, I'd like to join that Hellsing organization of yours while I'm here, in this universe. I have no idea how I got here, and I don't know how to return. Since I'm a somewhat experienced monster hunter, I'm sure I can be of help.
Even if they didn't accept, Soma had the intention of hunting monsters anyway, if only in the hopes of finding one with a soul that would allow him to return home someday. So if both Hellsing and himself were to be fighting monsters, they might as well fight them on the same side.
