Storm said, "Lets see the Professor before we start pestering him with questions." She tried to be light, but she was concerned. If Scott was telling the truth...combined with that phoenix... she shook her head. Hopefully, the Professor could shed some light on the situation.

The X-Men first met Madelyne Pryor and last saw Scott Summers in Japan. Cyclops introduced Madelyne as "a very special friend", before Wolverine's wedding ceremony was abruptly called off by the bride-to-be, Mariko Yashida. Rogue wasn't sure what they could do against Phoenix if she decided to take them on. Then again if there was a way to help her how could she stand by and do nothing. "Ahm in whatever we decide."

"X! NO!" Wolverine yells as he runs over to help the guy that saved his life.
SHIKT!
In a blur, Wolverines claws broke through his skin and he went to cut the cables attaching the Professor to Cerebro.
Then, Wolverine jumps in front of the Professor just in case anything explodes to shield him.

Action 1: Move five stones into Close Combat for a total of 7 (2 from Claws mod, 3 from energy pool)
Action 2: Shifts two stones into defense and jumps in front of the Professor, pushing him back. (total defense 5)

Taken by surprise, Rogue reacted only slightly slower than Wolverine. Logan was attempting to cut the cables to save Xavier... but what if it wasn't enough? What if the problem was not in the machine, but in the helmet itself? She didn't have enough time to think about it, so, steeling herself against the electrical shock that would possibly threaten her, she grabbed the helmet and removed it from Xavier's head as fast as she could without harming him if at all possible.

5 stones into Durability, all shifted into Defense, to steel myself against the electricity in the case that Wolverine's action isn't enough to cut the juice. XD
6 stones into Strength, 4 to remove the helmet despite the electrical shock if any, 1 to throw it away once I'm done removing it, and 1 in control to avoid harming Xavier as I remove it.

Storm wasn't as fast as the others. And even if she had moved faster, there was nothing she could do to help. She had never felt so helpless in her life. She stayed back, waiting for the first opportunity to do...something.
