Forgetting Moondragon's outburst earlier and being far more concerned for her well being, Gargoyle takes to the air and flies back to her room, ready for action.

He took a better look at the giant robot and smirked:
-Hey, rich boy, I hope you don't mind me cooling down back here? I hate it when big bad metallic dudes interrupt my time chilling with my friends.
As he said so, his body transformed quickly into a familiar humanoid form of pure ice...

Bobby Drake looks at the robots apparently ready to land and says:
-Good or bad, we're about to know what's their deal... seems like they're gonna land over there! Last one on the scene is a popsickle!
The Iceman leaves the car, using his trademark ice slides to attempt to follow the robots. Once again, it seemed, the most hot headed of the team was the one whose body temperature was below the freezing point...

LADIES, PLEASE! Gargoyle exclaims as he tries to get between the two women. This is futile! We are a team and must trust each other. Let this one rest. She needs it. We can find out why she is here later. Maybe she needs our help. Let us not be fools and jump to conclusions. Gargoyle hopes he can make them understand and stop this behavior, seeing past his monstrous nature.

Preparing himself to avoid counterattacks, Iceman held both hands in front of him, attempting to freeze one of the 'bots into a giant ice cubish-version of itself.
-What was it they always say in those cop movies? Oh yeah... FREEZE!!
