Uh... well, if I hadn't recently been victimized by Wolverine and the X-Men and Iron Man: Armored Adventures I'd be excited about this I guess. But recent experience tells me they're going to royally screw this up. Make Hulk the leader or something...

Wk, werent you the first one to say that the best way to make Avengers WORK is to be back to basic lineup? Well, this is the closest you'll get to your wish.
Im thoughtfull. I liked United They Stand, but apparently Im in the minority (and who am I kidding, I was just excited to see Hawkeye and Tigra).

Actually, what I said was that when you're starting a new Avengers franchise (movie, cartoon, etc) the first thing you should consider is re-telling the first Avengers story. Just putting the right characters into the mix isn't assurance anything will be good. Iron Man: Armored Adventures finally gave Rhodey a decent amount of screen time... and man, did it ever suck.

Call it step#1- make Avengers from scratch- done. Now we just gotta wait and see if its writing is good. Its not like making a GOOD Marvel superhero cartoon is impossible cough*SpectacularSpiderman*cough*X-men:Evolution*cough*X-men:TAS*cough*Spiderman:TAS*cough cough cough <dies>
...by the way, I see a pattern here.

You consider X-Men: Evolution as evidence that Marvel can make a good cartoon?

I couldn't sit through an entire Evolution episode. I thought it was pretty awful. Wolverine and the X-Men had some good features (some plot lines were actually decent) but it was bogged down by other problems (mostly that it was WOLVERINE and the X-Men). The 90s X-Men cartoon was solid, but that was almost two decades ago.
Spectacular Spider Man was wonderful, and I even liked a lot of the 90s Spidey cartoon. But other than that.. ugh.

I enjoyed it, I know that a lot of people liked it, I can hardly see any negative reviews other then trolls or generic haters without a cause so yeah, I consider it a good Marvel cartoon.

Uh... there was plenty of good reasons to dislike Evolution. Starting with their complete lack of a solid creative direction. I can't think of anything about that show that was worth liking. Even Wolverine & the X-Men managed to draw me in with a good storyline, despite my disliking the general premise. Evolution was just... empty.

*cries* Actually making Cap the "lone wolf" character could be interesting... and would be just as logical as a lot of the other characterizations of Cap we've seen over the years

I liked Evolution... I have no opinion on Wolverine and the X-Men because I'm trying to find the goddamn episodes so I can watch it! Grr... I also like Spectacular Spider-Man. Finally, I'm a Marvel fan, who will enjoy nearly anything that says Marvel on it. I say nearly because X-Men Origins was real crap. And I actually liked the other X-men movies.

I liked Evolution alot. It was an entertaining series, great artwork, and I loved the redo on all the characters... As for overarching plot, storyline, etc... yeah. Didnt work as well there, but I don't care, I still loved the series.
Iron Man Adventures.... It's a neat little show. And not really a 'bad' show. But I don't really feel like it's a proper 'Iron Man' show. It's kinda like... Well...
I'm holding out hope for this series though... It CAN'T be any worse then the last Avengers show (With all the high tech armor and whatnot). And might actually be entertaining.
