The Evolution art was the worst. What on earth was up with those stupid shoulder pads? Ugh. Just... ugh.
It was almost worse than Spectacular Spider-Man

Once again, I liked the art. Spectacular was too simplistic, but grew on me.... and that vid there I thought was a pretty decent sequence, and still do.

The animation was okay in parts, bad in others. Ultimately I don't think the animation is that important to a show's success - the dissonance between the quality of Spectacular Spider Man's animation and the quality of basically every other aspect of the show is nuts.
I posted that clip mostly because I find it gag-inducingly corny.
I'm glad people enjoyed the show, though. I have a bunch of IRL friends who loved it.

XD Yeah, when you take it out of context it is kinda corny. But I still think the ep about 'girl power' being a ridiculous notion ( as in, feminine superiority over being awesome generally ), and buying into the whole power trip of cliques... or.. Something. XD I don't even remember now. But the vid was a good part of it.

Other than not particularly digging the theme song, that trailer was pretty impressive. I liked getting a look at Hawkeye and Black Widow too (though I think they should have stuck with just the original lineup for a while)

Hated the theme song, was otherwise not impressed. Looks like standard kid fare, but that's probably who the trailer is aimed at anyway. I'll have to wait and see some full episodes.

Its a cartoon based on a comic book. Isn't "standard fare" pretty much the best we could hope for?
Even Spectacular Spider-Man (my pick for best comic-book cartoon of all time) was still pretty much standard fare.

Is it just me, or did Hawkeye look buffer than he should? Maybe it's the angle...

The animation all around is a little hinky in parts. The pic of Captain America in the first post, he's very... triangular...

I said standard KID fare. By that I mean they only aim to cobble together some big action sequences using characters we recognize, for the "woah, look at that explosion!" and "hey, I know that guy!" factors. That stuff doesn't interest me.
I liked the ninja turtles and that type of show when I was little, but it's just kids stuff - I'm not interested in watching it now. Compare that to Avatar, which I own on DVD and have rewatched about three times over.
The trailer is aimed at kids. I'll have to wait to see if the show really is just aimed at kids, or if it's inclusive of older audiences the way Avatar and Spectacular were. If it's the former, I'll probably skip it and just wait for the Legend of Korra. ^__^
