Landing on a nearby rooftop, Cat throws her trusty grappling hook, this time not to follow Spidey, but to grab a pumpkin bomb in midair and throw it back to its sender!
Wether her trick worked or not, she then did her best to get out of harm's way.

The world believes the Hobgoblin to be dead, because he found a dope named Lefty Donovan to die in his place. Though Spider-Man suspected the truth, So he was wondering when the "boss" would show that fright-face of his again. Now Razor-bats--slash at his costume, but thanks to the cat-cable's intervention, none do him any serious harm. Black Cat's Health: 3/3

Looking at his slightly shredded suit now, Spider-man mutters, Apparently not. He looks at Cat. Thanks. Then turns his attention back to the Hobgoblin. So, is this the real Hobgoblin attacking me, or another fake? Let's find out, shall we? Taking aim, he shoots some webs at Hobgoblin's eyes and limbs to blind and pin him and knock him off his glider.

-No problem, replied Cat as she leapt and used her cable to gain some high and keep moving to avoid the Hobgoblin's attacks.
However, she didn't intend to remain on the defensive all the time, so she also kept an eye out for something in her surroundings that she could use against the supervillain... "Enough games... let's see if I can help Spidey for real this time!"

Dodging out of the way of the toxic apparition, Spider-man says, Not this time, Hobbie. Besides, if you destroyed us, there'd be no one for your to play with! So saying, he launched a complicated webbing shot directly at Hobgoblin's glider with the intent on clogging the exhaust, though doing so without changing Hobgoblin's position much (since he can see that Cat is about to do something).

Black Cat
From where she stood, Black Cat felt confident she could land a good hit at the Hobgoblin with a resonable chance of knocking him out, if she hit hard enough. Worth a try... It was dangerous, yes, but she could do it! Running as fast as she could, she used her cable to get some more momentum, then she attempted to kick the lights out of the Hobgoblin... or the Hobgoblin off its glider!

Seeing the Black Cat approach, Hobgoblin fires sparkles at her from his index finger. But thanks to Spider-Man's intervention, the villain's glider buckles, forcing the shot to go wild! SWOK!The Black Cat then strikes Hobgoblin, forcing him back against a concrete wall...but the Hobgoblin's not even hurt! KRA-TAK!Now Hobgoblin rips the stonework from the building with ease, and hurls it at the the Black Cat as if it weighed less than paper mache! Hobgoblin never displayed this level of power the first time he and Spider-Man fought! Somehow he's made himself as strong as the first Green Goblin!! Black Cat's Health: 3/3

Black Cat
Felicia was glad that, so far, she had been somewhat useful to Spider-Man. It seemed that her own strikes against Hobgoblin had not caused any lasting damage, but at least they allowed Spidey to land a few hits of his own. Unfortunately, that accomplishment came with a cost; she was now the supervillain's target. Or more precisely, the target of a huge stonework thrown by said supervillain.
-You're the one who needs protection, "Hobbie"... and a good psychiatrist, if I may add!
Black Cat threw her cable once again in the hopes of getting out of the way by herself. She could not rely too much on Spider-Man for defense, or else she'd be a burden.

"Steroids?"It's all Spider-Man can do to catch the crashing cornice. His attempt at flinging it back at the Hobgoblin falls far short of his original expectations. At least the Black Cat seems to be looking out for herself alright. Black Cat's Health: 3/3

Felicia decided to seek cover for a few seconds, both to catch her second wind and not force Spider-Man to watch over her. She could still help him, she just needed a few seconds to... breathe a little. While Hobgoblin's attention was still on the Wallcrawler, she used her cable to seek lower grounds and try to recover a little. No use getting out of the hospital if she wasn't careful and ended up back there immediately after getting better...

Yeah, Hobbie, steroids. Y'know? Stuff baseball players inject themselves with to become meatheads? While saying this, Spider-man decides to play the distraction. He hops off the building, sends a line of webbing to the opposite building and another line to the underside of Hobgoblin's glider once he can see it.
