Just picked this up. I'm in love with the character/series creation system (you create all of the characters <"Leads"> and the "series" at the same time, as part of a process they call "Pathways". Its neat).
Dunno how the dice system will work out, but I can't wait to give it a try.

Keep us in the loop, I was following a twitter feed about the development and it started as diceless then they switched to a dice system. I wonder if they have the rules for both styles of play in the game book. The only thing I didn't like is said twitterer rarely if ever answered questions . . . Twitter marketing FAIL

Margaret Weis Productions has always had a lot of problems with its marketing, and thats unfortunate. Cam Banks is a great "idea man" when it comes to RPGs. I haven't found any rules for diceless yet, but there's an entire section on running the game online. If I can find enough interested players, I'm definitely going to try this out here on the boards. Possibly doing "Gotham" instead of "Smallville"

Justice would be awesome, but I prefer to do origin stories rather than run from an established setting. On the other hand, they already have convenient Lead Sheets for some of the Justice members (maybe just Clark and Oliver, I'll have to check)

I read about this when they had first released it. Supposed to be pretty awesome. Count +1 interested.

I dunno about our marketing, but I'm pretty easy to get hold of. My twitter handle is boymonster, and you can always email me at cam AT margaretweis DOT com. I'll answer any MWP or SMALLVILLE RPG question you like.

I've been a huge fan for a while (I miss you guys' Dragonlance stuff, but I know its not your fault it is no more). Uh, but yeah... wow. Awesome to see you here on our humble board.

You know how it is. The internet's smaller than you think. Where the heck did you come from? I'm not complaining... I've been a huge fan for a while (I miss you guys' Dragonlance stuff, but I know its not your fault it is no more). Uh, but yeah... wow. Awesome to see you here on our humble board.

I'm familiarizing myself with the rules, and I hit on what I think is a pretty major limitation. Due to the fact that if you never "give in" in a confrontation, you become "stressed out" instead... doesn't it automatically behoove you to never ever "give in" in a social situation if you're the only person who can reveal certain information.
There are only two people in the scene. It pretty much ends automatically when you "stress out" and leave the scene, leaving the person without whatever information they were after, and no other way to obtain it.
