Luke Cage would have normally gone over there and knocked those fools out. But then he got to thinking and realized that maybe they were holding someone hostage. You walked up slowly trying to see if there was anyone with them. If there was, which there are but he doesn't know that yet, he will leave it up to Danny to take care of them. Maybe he could distract them. "Okay fellas. Either put down your weapons or I will have to wipe the floor with you. You got that?!"

There were innocents at stake, and as much as Danny would have loved to know more about the situation, he knew it would be best if he’d ended this whole thing quickly by blind siding the (hopefully) now distracted man holding the hostages.

Luke smiled at the stupid mistake that this idiot just made. You should never turn your back on someone, especially when you had the advantage. Power Man turned the guy around gave a punch so hard that it would knock him out for the rest of the day. "Sweet dreams buttercup. So what do we do now Danny? Untie everyone here, get them onto the boat along with Tweedledee and Tweedledum here? And then head back to shore where we can get everyone back home and these two to the nearest police station." Christmas, this was too easy. Plus they mentioned about their boss telling them to look out for Iron Fist. All well, they could probably get everyone to safety before he and Dan tackle that mystery.

Luke doesn't reminded being hired by this guy. But there is no time to correct him. This will just be a free demonstration for him though. Maybe he will spread the word about Heroes for Hire. Luke isn't sure if those pea shooters can really do that much damage. But it never hurts to play it safe. Cage immediatly grabbed the man's, the one who alerted the others that is, gun and crushed it. While doing that, he gave the man a five knuckled finger sandwhich. Power Man style! He just hopes that Danny can take care of the others. Or at least take care of the weapons.

Daniel was half hoping to see one of those thugs fire off one of their ray for fun, but that would probably injure him permanently or flip the building upside down, so he’d have to take care of those things . “Y’know, Luke, I’m really getting sick of people pointing guns at us. [OOC: Power Man would probably use Durability to Defend adding his Toughness. This lets the weapons hit him, but braces him to handle the hit. Iron Fist would use Agility adding his Reflexive Dodge, to prevent getting shot in the first place. So that's what I used these stones for.]
Power Man and Iron Fist do have to reach the suckers before they can hit them.
[OOC2: Neither of you took a move action, so these guys remained out of close combat range and fired their "dyna-blasters" at you.]
Fortunately, zap guns don't mean squat to Luke Cage!! But Iron Fist can't just stand there and let things bounce off of him and call it fighting!
"Iron Fist!" One hoodlum shouts after Danny makes his comment. "S-Stay away from me, Iron Fist!"
How come these guys are so scared of Fist? Why not Cage? Luke's a real awesome dude if he does say so himself!

When those pea shooters barely did anything to Power Man, he wasn't really very surprised. He should have known that they would make their weapons seem 10x more better than they really are. Thinking back, it might have been more logical to approach the targets before swinging at them. Danny sprung towards two of the thugs and swung at the weapons once more, the one with the funny comment included. This wasn’t the first time he’d been mentioned today, and he didn’t know any of these lowlifes. “Let’s not rough this one up too bad. He’s got information, and I think he likes me better than you.”

Luke watch as the fella gets thrown out of a window just by a simple uppercut. Obviously, ordinary thugs are just getting more pathetic by the hour. He then grabbed two other fellas heads and slam them together. Even though they are more afraid of Danny then Cage, at least it makes it easier for him to knock them out.
