Danny finds that his fist has returned to normal.
Luke learns from Harmony that while the Heroes for Hire were in the mansion, some guys from the gang came out! Two of them tried to take hostages, but Misty and Colleen stopped them.
"MY GEM!"
The scream came from inside, and it sounded like Nastalthia!

Iron Fist knew that Power Man wouldn't hesitate, and neither could he. He turned and dashed into the house. Something about a gem. It seemed like heroes never got to take a break!

"Those hoodlums took my gem!" Nastalthia states indignantly, once the Heroes for Hire join her in the house. "I just got it--it's a very valuable gem from the Himalayas somewhere--and it's said to have mystic powers."

Not content to rely on notoriously faulty eye-witness accounts, Iron Fist centered himself and let his senses do their thing. There might be clues laying around.

After Nastalthia calms down, Luke learns that her gem has the size and appearance of a small disco ball. Nastalthia noticed that it was missing when she entered this room and it wasn't sitting upon the display table.
It's possible that unnoticed by Luke or Danny, one of their opponents may have snuck past them and into this room behind them. But the thief couldn't have gone back the way they came with something the size of a bowling ball--they'd have spotted him for sure!
Concentrating, Iron Fist notices that a window is open. No wonder he and Power Man could hear Nastalthia's screams so clearly from outside!

Danny caught Luke's attention, and nodded toward the window. Without waiting, he headed toward the window and jumped through, hoping to catch up to the thief.

Luke nodded, getting the same idea that Danny had, and followed him out of the window. It shouldn't be hard to catch the thief. It will be time consuming as said thief will most likely have a head start. But they will catch the crook in the end.

Iron Fist wants some answers about who hired these hoodlums, and what he wants the gem for. Could the mysterious gem be what's been affecting his hand? But though Power Man also searches, the glistening jewel is not forthcoming. And so, the Heroes for Hire and their guests stay for the wedding... ...all five excruciating hours of it.
