Star Wars and D&D are tied now, what sorcery be this?! I hadn't planned a tiebreaker, I'll probably just pick one... Anybody absolutely against one or the other?

I only voted for one of the game ideas. Can I use my other vote to vote twice for the same one ?

Haven't played Star Wars before. I'm leaning toward that over D&D.

I think if more people don't want to play one over the other, I'll choose the other, if that makes sense.

I'll really be pleased with either. I think I prefer D&D, as opportunities to play Artificers aren't dropping in my lap (and honestly... Eberron is almost a fantasy version of Star Wars IMO), but its not a strong enough preference for me to get passionate about it.

I'm pretty neutral. I'm really familiar with most of SAGA, which works both for and against it. I've never played in Eberron, which makes it exciting and new to me, but I also am wicked intimidated by the scale of 3.5, since it's not something I've ever really played beyond a session or two.

I'm a 3.5 Veteran++, so if we go with Eberron and you tell me what kinds of things you're specifically looking for, I can probably find it for you 8) For instance, you were talking about a swashbuckling type chara... I know a couple of good PrCs you can go for the are fitting (and won't leave you feeling underpowered). How do you feel about Dread Pirates? ;D

I've never played Star Wars before either, hence my preference towards D&D. But my knowledge of D&D is also pretty limited. So my preference isn't strong, as I'd likely have to learn how to play all over again.

Star Wars SAGA is like D&D 4 except that it doesn't suck ;D

Star Wars SAGA is like D&D 4 except that it doesn't suck ;D I guess I would say that I haven't found 4E to suck, but it pales in comparison to SAGA. SAGA is everything 4E wanted to be, but better. I definitely think it's the best roleplaying system I've used so far (which is restricted to MURPG, 3.5, 4E, SAGA, and Modern).

I know nothing about SAGA and very little about Star Wars. Unless you want to teach me *two* new systems, my preference is for Eberron. Of course, I suck at D&D and I've never made a character who lived longer than the third session. So you may have to teach me that too...
