Not the mythical bronze giant crafted by Hephaestus, but my character from a game I played a while ago. He's a low level superhuman and Jack-of-all-trades, in game he could cut through large gangs of thugs and even other low-level superhumans with ease, but ended up getting ambushed in nearly every session.

Background
Born and raised in the city of Atillan hidden deep in the Himalayas, he was overcome with curiosity just a week before his own Terrigenesis and managed to sneak into the Terrigen crystal chambers, wanting only to see them. He was caught in the chambers but, being only a child, was exiled instead of executed. He was found by humans days later in the foothills of the Himalayas, half-dead. They assumed him to be a lost American child, and as such the embassy had him flown back to the States, specifically New York.
Thanks to his exposure to extreme cold in the Himalayas and the polluted air in the Human world, he suffered from severe pneumonia for months. After his recovery he was put into foster care as his parents had (obviously) not been found. When asked his name he lied and came up with "Paul Metcalfe", he knew he'd heard it somewhere else but couldn't remember from what. At school he became something of an anti-bully, thanks to a certain anti-social tendency and the fact that he was easily the strongest kid in school, subjecting those who picked on others to the same kind of abuse. After a few months the bullying problem at this school almost disappeared, especially after a certain incident involving an after-school ambush, a couple kitchen knives, two broken arms and a shattered kneecap. Despite this, he always managed to avoid anyone realising he wasn't the same species as everyone else.
After graduation he got a decently paying job as an IT technician at ESU. Seeing the state of Human society and the example set by other superhuman individuals, he decided to try his hand at being a superhero, and found that it suited him. Although he hasn't achieved the same heights of fame as others superheroes, he is something of a cult figure among the superhero enthusiasts of New York.
NB- My GM always let me stack the bonus of the gauntlets and the batons in close combat, essentially making a single 5 stone weapon.
