Well, I did say something like Frenzy. I agree that Conan was never a mindless rager (That was Kull), I was just trying to think of a modifier that would simulate his near-invincibility and destructive power in Close Combat, and I was thinking of modifiers to avoid him running out of energy.
I actually liked the Prince of Persia write-up. I've only played the first game and don't know much beyond that one, so I wasn't sure if there was anything wrong with it that I didn't see. If you'd really like a suggestion I would suggest buying a second weapon modifier on his close combat, that would give him the ability to attack for more and defend with the dagger if he liked.
This is so funny i have the entire conan collection. I mean every single comic they had i got it. Including the Large magazine size ones. Has any one done a write up for the Spartans from the Halo game. One of my guys seems like he really wants to make hinm but he has read some novel that has convined him that the spartans are freaking walking gods. I mean he just thinks of him as way to strong.
Well... they can lift tanks with one hand, have a personal ablative force field as a modifier, unparalleled training and expertise, and the most advanced equipment that money can buy. Spartans are simply powerful.
Well, most of them are. That DOA female spartan and her goose step fighting moves were a little underwhelming.
PA Ablative Forcefield 6 -Stones are free -Takes a panel to recharge after being completely destroyed -Self only, clings to body
PA Image Inducer 2
Technology 5 (Intelligence Bonus)
Computers 5 (Intelligence Bonus)
PA Computers 5
Social Skills 2 -Human military protocol
PA Acrobatics 1 (Str Bonus) -Purely for negating fall damage
Vehicle Ops 7 -All vehicles
PA Vehicle Ops 8 -All vehicles
MODIFIERS: PA Toughness +7 (No 2x damage from firearms or projectiles) PA Self-Repair Reflexive Dodge +2 PA Targeting +5 Targeting +3 PA Motion Tracker 1 -As Sonar Senses PA Translator PA Exclusivity PA Life Support -Permanent PA Psycho-Centric Power Template +2
EQUIPMENT: Sniper Rifle +4 Range 5 -2x Damage -Armor Penetration -4 shots per clip -Semi-automatic -Comes with scope
Assault Rifle +3 Range 3 -2x Damage -30 shots per clip -Fully automatic
4 Plasma Grenades +2 -Area Attack (Area = Modifier Number only) -2x Damage -Can be stuck to opponents for +6 damage upon exlposion
If he's a bit sloppy it's because I made him as I posted him.
EDIT: Added Vehicle Ops, I CAN'T BELIEVE I forgot vehicle ops. Dropped his Int to 3 and boosted his Str to 4. Also used the info in the thread in the link below, and boosted his durability to 4.
EDIT II: There is a less powerful but also less accurate (imho) version here: [ftp]http://www.murpg.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=conversions&action=display&thread=1102025264&page=1[/ftp] Somehow I find myself gravitating towards the other version, mine is easily too powerful.
EDIT III: Changed my mind, I like mine better. It makes him able to do in MURPG everything he could do in the game, which is what a conversion is all about.
I decided yesterday that rather than argue with my freand about the stats and such for the Spartens i went out and got the novels. I am gonna highlight the stats the book gives him and try to make it as acuret as possible.
Now i'm not quit sure how this translates but MCPO can lift and carry about 1 tons out of armor, run at burst of 35 kph and has a reaction speed of 33 mil secs. double all that, or half it with reaction when he is in armor
I would say the reaction speed translates into a good reflexive dodge. From the nove i would not say he has a 9 strangth eather. Without his armer he can lift about 1500 lbs. The armer according to the book tripples that. Therefore his strength should be around 5 at the most mabie 6. The enhanced reflexes would account for a reflexive dodge. and his speed wich according to the book was around 50 mph or bursts of 70 would be around a 5 or so. Also he does not lift tanks he flips them. lol
