Discussion with WildKnight and Brainstem had me thinking on a solution for games where you don't want people using Modifiers to the extremes you sorta have to in some games. I'm thinking of maybe trying a House Rule like this if I can get our group to play again... You never spend more than 6 Energy Stones in an Action. If your AN is above 6, every level above 6 receives stones from the General Pool. Regardless how high your AN is, you must always put at least 1 stone into the Action to use it. This allows an AN of 8 to always get at least 2 stones from the General Pool as long as they have put 1 of their own Energy Stones into the Action Box. It forces people to specialize a bit if they want the free stones... Not sure yet how I would want to handle Modifiers that give bonuses. I would definitely prohibit PsychoCentric and anything like it, but Claws, Toughness, etc... not so sure. Thoughts? This would replace any energy based House Rules, including splitting of Durability... not work in conjunction with as that would surely be too much.

hmm i di this a siamaler way now that your talking but i give bonisis to all lvl e.g 1-3 :1 Free stone to use (every time) so if i have lvl 1-3 i get 1 stone free for it eveyr time if i have lvl 10 i get 4 stone free every time 4-6 :2 Free stone to use 7-9 :3 Free stone to use 10 :4 Free stoen to use.
this is my Masterd advantage +1 to lvl it is pritty much you "masterd" you power fighting style ect. to such a lvl it takes you less effort to do it from EXP of ding it 100+ times. normaly i only allow this on a lvl 10 power but it could easly be adpted for lower ranked moves.
i got manny othter energy mods/advantegs on powers if you ever want to know a few pritty much every one of my plaers has a different way to gain energy that is unique to there hero but makes sence.

I like that too, but I wouldn't start it at 1-3, I'd start it at 4-6.
4-6 = 1 free stone 7-8 = 2 free stones 9 = 3 free stones 10 = 4 free stones
Nobody should, IMHO, get a free stone at levels 1 to 3.

lol this was with the "masted rule" so even tho its a 1-3 you would most likely have cant b einproved by adding lines ao you still could have "masted" the power also one of my plaers flaver texted it for Showoff witch was if he put in so much as 1 stoned into a action he would get the chart abouv wourth of free stone to show off with and hade to use them fro showing off. as he wanted to be a showoff but had no real powers or regen to afford showing off all the time, that ficed the problem there. granted wno he can never get masterd but he could still get efficient. or super eficient.
i find i use can use that chart for braking down almost everything even sit mods. not 1 thing that chart has not help me with. you could even make a xctra regen mod/advantage advanteg maby being called like (golike efficient) for +4 i would guess simply being you get stones back if you put in so manny so back to the chart. and as aposd to free stone you get it becoms if the action works you get stones back. so while driving i see the road is wet shif from 2 stones to 3 into vhicul operation to protect me form the posibul sit mod altho i would still only be getting back 1 stone a turn as boath 2 and 3 are in the same spot but if i was going at a 2 every panel and geting 1 back im only bleeind 1 stone a panel but if i pump in 4 now ill get 2 back so altho im now driving 2x better(in theary) im still only bleeing 2 stones now.
could also make a Dur ruling on energy being the same chart (altho maby a bit more broder) call it extra regen. mod of idk +1 to dur and work it like this. 1-4 (4 energy) 5-8 (6 energy) 9-10 (8 energy)
and that woud simply give you free extra energy based off you int or dur lvl. i got more energy stff if you want them. hope the can maby help you think of new/better ones.
