I wish all the people from MURPG just lived on the same street sometimes I don't know, man. Have you seen the DIA thread?! All joking aside, though, there are some really cool people here on the boards, and, yeah, maybe there does need to be an Avatar game...

We should all chip in and buy some condos somewhere, or a whole neighbourhood! That would be AWESOME. I hear all the best professional Korean Star Craft 2 players all live together and play/practice every day. Why are we not doing this?

I thought about restarting my Avatar game, though with Korra out now, I have no idea when it should/could be set.
And Tenzin is super-epic.

I've thought about running one, too, as a potential back-up plan in case New X-Men didn't get off the ground. I was leaning towards going back several generations of avatar, back even long before Kyoshi. That's pretty safe territory.

lol I'm 100% devoted to the New X-Men game, but it's designed to have an end, sort of, so some day I'll run something else. I'd love to run an Avatar game, or a Naruto game, or something like that. They both seem like worlds designed for RPGs.
I'd certainly consider playing in an Avatar game, though. ^______________^

For those wondering, the actual television premiere was this past weekend, and the ratings are in. Avatar: the Legend of Korra pulled in 4.5 million viewers, enough to make it the 4th most watched show that week overall, as well as the top kids show and the top show on its channel. Not bad.
I wonder if ratings will go up after the first two episodes, as most of the fans have already seen them. I hope people get into the habit of watching.
Really, though, ratings are not that big of a deal these days - DVD and toy sales are the ticket. As long as you have okayish ratings but high sales, it seems that a show is likely to have a future. I should really pick up the DVDs for ATLA; chances are I'll be getting the full ATLOK set when it's out, too.
And there have been several Avatar video games, though as you might expect from a licensed product, I don't think any of them have been great.

Honestly, my kids would probably want the toys, if they weren't so cheaply made and crappy looking. The toys for both the previous Series and the Movie were just SO poorly made, they weren't appealing at all.
I'm not shocked that the show did well though. I have my complaints, but it was very entertaining.
