I was thinking in energy drain for a character and some questions grew in my head: - if I pay Area effect for the energy drain, it affects an area arround my character of the range of energy drain (ie. range 2) - if I pay it as a Modifier (Action as modifier (+3)) and i touch someone i drain the AN without spending stones, right? - in the case of a range 2, area effect, modifier, out of control, and others not shielded from power use, energy drain would drain its AN in red stones every panel from random subjects at the area of effect(ie. 1 stone from A, 2 stones from B , etc), or it would drain its AN in red stones from everyone in the area? - if I combine energy drain with colse combat and the other flavor its defense as "you hit but your punches deal no damage" it would still drain the energy right? then if it is true, if I graple an oponent and just keep him grappled I would eventually drain him dry. - in the case of drain energy by touch, it is a touch like Rogue's power (skin against skin) or it affects even if the other has clothes?

If you had "out of control", I'd say yes, it just would hit everyone within range 2 of you. Otherwise, I would say it would hit everyone withing range of 2 of your target (who has to be within range 2 of you) - Yes, the "Effortless" advantage would mean you wouldn't have to pay stones to use the power... you'd get up to your AN in free stones. You wouldn't have to use them all though, unless the power was "out of control" and/or was actually made into a modifier. - If you had range 2, area effect, effortless, out of control, others not shielded, I would say it has the same area effect as other powers: EVERYONE within range gets hit with the full force of the attack. Hope this guy doesn't plan on attending many parties though.... - While I wouldn't call it "combining", I would say that yes, you could use CC and Energy Drain at the same time; so holding onto the guy would mean he's in a world of hurt. - How the touch works is probably up to you and the GM. I could accept it either way (maybe giving a +1 advantage to skin-to-skin if the guy chose that as the only option.) -Wayne

Hahaha, you are right, he may be anti-social.
Maybe thats why my GM didn't want me to use that character. and with the "redirect as force blast" thingie it would be desastrous...
