The only thing I have is character profiles. I've got some Heralds of Galactus, Servo-Guards, Mad Thinker's Amazing Android and some others. We definetely need to coordinate our efforts.

We need people to make: Actions, Modifiers and options More characters Team, character, and location, descriptions Supplemental Rules and Clarifications (these should be easy enough) the website at which it will be hosted
Additionally, we should make sure everything is balanced. I'd recommend doing this by vote, but we don't have nearly enough people for that.

I've got a little bit of an idea for an adventure, and a few new ideas for actions, modifiers, options and such. The yahoo group doesn't appear to have seen much attention lately, which is a shame. But with some work, some recruitment, and some leadership (I'll have to buy that with lines, okay?) it should make a suitable home for the project. I'll try joining this weekend if I don't forget. As for making PDF's, Open Office is good for that, and free to boot. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to look into it. To the googlemobile!

I have submitted my membership request and am awaiting approval as qsr3000. I knew that old yahoo id from high school would pay off.
Now if only we can get more people to join up... Any ideas?

I'm working on a modifier to allow travel into Hyperspace (as per the Heralds of Galactus). When I get it figured out I'll toss it your way.

That's flight at 10.

10 only gets you to light speed, which is not quite fast enough for the distances accounted for in marvel (that would be about 8 minutes to the sun, and about 5 years to the nearest star). What we've come up with over in the Rules Discussion forum is an option tacked on to Flight that requires (naturally) an AN of 10 but which allows you to break the "reality" barrier with a base resistance of 6 (thus allowing for high speed chases in Hyper Space).

By the way- Is there a chance I will finally see a Namor CAD? I was surprised he wasnt in the first book (hell, he is one of the most important characters in whole Marvel!). I doubted he would be in X-men book (since he wasnt connected with them in any way), but lack of Namor in Avengers and Spiderman books? Unforgivable!
I mean, come on- they made a CAD of Namorita, but no Namor all over? They made CAD's for characters like Anarchist but no Prince of Atlantis? Thankfully, Fantastic Four and Namor are close enough to fix that problem.

I made a House Rule that I'm working on in the Custom Rules subboard that you may want to check out for the book. It's still in a very rough phase, but if it works out, maybe it can be used in the book?

The yahoo group devoted to the FFGuide doesn't seem active, so i post my suggestions here. I think that a FF guide should contain (but is not limited to) stats/background info for this various entries: Various friends and foes - Stingray - Guardsman - Watcher - Adam Warlock - Darkoth - Diablo - Dragon Man - Mephisto - Mole Man - Psycho Man - Red Ghost - Puppet Master - Mad Thinker - Thanos - Impossible Man - Molecile Man Inhumans - Black Bolt - Gorgon - Karnak - Lockjaw - Maximus - Medusa - Triton Atlanteans - Attuma - Warlord Krang The world eater - Galactus - Airwalker - Firelord - Terrax Skrulls Frightfull Four - Wingless Wizard - Trapster - Thundra Negative zone - Annihilus - Blastaar Microverse Subterranea Baxter Building Four Freedom Plaza Hydrobase Reed Richards' Vehicules and other devices Several of them can already be found here: www.sachau.net/murpg/profile.htmlAnd were are Namor, Psylord and the Fantastique Force. Mayble the sinister six. Just Shocker is in the avenger, and Doctor octopus in the rule book. But the hobgoblin, sandman, vulture and electro are not. A version of New fantastic : Spiderman, Gray hulk and wolverine are in rule book to. But Ghost rider and sleepwalker are not.

Hobgoblin, Sandman, Vulture, Electro, and Ghost Rider are all in the Spider-Man guide. You can find this guide in one of the top threads in this board. But it's true that Namor is a must. I'd like to help you guys, but the FF part of Marvel is the one in which I have the least knowledge, except about the Silver Surfer, the Fantastic Four themselves, a few of the Inhumans and of course, the legendary Doctor Doom, most of whom have been already written in the Core Book or Avengers book (except that Doom is poorly made if you ask me... lol.) So... I guess I'm out. Almost anyone on the board knows more about all of these characters, areas and stories than I ever will.

First we need to finally Assemble people to do the job. I mean, they managed to do the Spidey guide, so we can as well make the new one!
I think Im gonna take a charge here, or else nobody will even bother trying. We need a leader for this project the most.

I'd be willing to help if I were convinced my efforts would not be wasted. I can be pretty good at making stats, editing images, and even a fair share of web design and proofreading. However, since the only fan project to even approach completion was the Spidey Guide, I suspect that most such projects are doomed to fail.
