Hey ... I think that you guys can notice that I'm new to this forum (and actually on the game), but I'm a great fan (so as you) of the Marvel Universe. I'm actually a GM on the Old Marvel RPG (the one with the FASERIP system) and I would be more than glad if I can offer some assistance on this book. I still keep the old books here and we can get lots of info from there. Hope that I can help.

Well, this book project is pretty much dead. There have been a number of good ideas, but they've never really come together.
Now most of the energy is going into the MURPG 2.0 Project, which isn't making much progress yet, either.
Still, I'd love to do a new fan-made guide, but I seem to be the only one.

Well .... then let's get started ...... My English might not be the best, but I still can do some write ups and dig some information ...... let's start with this:
"The Fantastic Four has its origins at Empire State University in New York State. There, two young geniuses and a rough-hewn athlete came together. Reed Richards, son of the billionaire inventor Nathaniel Richards, was roomates with foorball player Ben Grimm. Although they came from oppisite backgrounds, Reed and Ben became close friends. They confessed their dreams to each other. Reed wanted to build a starship. Jockingly, Ben agreed to pilot the ship when it was built.
Reed also met the strange genius, Victor von Doom, from the eastern European country Latveria. Reed recognized a genius equal to his own. He did not realized that Von Doom's ego far surpassed his intelect. Reed discovered von Doom was carrying on dangerous experiments and using flawed calculations to guide his efforts. When Reed attempted to correct von Doom's calculations, the latter saw it as interference and sabotage. Von Doom's experiments literally blew up in his face. He then left the U.S. to pursue other studies that would eventually transform him into the dreaded Dr. Doom.
As Reed progressed in college, he met a young gurl. Sue Storm, who would someday become his wife, and her precious brother, Johnny.
Eventually Reed began to apply his skills to increase mankind's knowledge. His Father had dissapeared and left him two billion dollars. Reed decided to use the money to build his starship. He gathered additional funding from the U.S. goverment, which supplied him with a base of operations near Central City, California. Sue joinedReed there. While Reed's ship was still in the planning stage, the four met and defeated their first alien invader, Gormuu. This spurred Reed to double his effortsbecause he saw his inventions as a way of defending humanity from alien treats. Reed was soon to know how correct he was."
That's the first part of a would-be introduction ..... I must say, this is mainly taken out of the FF guide from the Old RPG, but of course that we can start doing some changes and modify this to fit into the new story, or the one that we could agree on show. Hope you like It!!!!!

i've come to help. i've seen a lot of talk for a long time about making this book, and i've always wished the workers luck. clearly, wishing you luck wasn't enough. i'm here to help you in anyway that i can. i have created a good quantity of materials for this game that i have used for my players, and i'm willing to help you create anything you need. i have no software for creating pdf files, but creatively i could be of great help to you. I'm also a very good writer, which i imagine will be quite important in such a project. let me know if you would like my help.

I'd be willing to work on this with anyone that might still have interest. Of course my knowledge of web design is sorely atrophied, and my knowledge of PDFs (beyond using them) is nonexistent. Of course, I am a creative writing minor, with experience editing documents, and I write about an original CAD a day.

Me I'm good with "Publisher" or "Power point" if that may help. But I haven't a great english level. I'm still interesting for helping with CaD, and for build a adventure. But i confess that the FF are not my beast knowledge. Like the Advengers book with hulk or Spidey Book with variant Spidey, we may have a variant Things (First years, current, armored things suit, shethings, change at will and so on) !
