Hi everyone!
I'm new on the boards so forgive me if this came up earlier (tried some searching, found nothing on the subject).
So, my question is: how do you think invoking works in the game?
What do you exactly get for spent stones? What’s the limit on the borrowed/invoked ability?
I mean, is it „I want mastery of fire power, I spend 10 stones for effect, and some for duration so I get 20 stones with which to burn things for [duration]”? Or are you limited by the action number of the creature you’re borrowing the powers from? Further, are those stones from the „general pool”, or are they simply an action number?
I can’t really fathom it yet.
Any thought would be helpful on the subject!
Thanks!

I'd probably grant the power up to a maximum duration based on the D&R, the creature granting the power would lose use of it for that time unless they spent an extra 2 stones or so to keep their power. That lets you get a decent amount of time with the power while also limiting its ability to explode out of control.
Other than that shot-in-the-dark theory I really don't know, I don't have my books with me so I don't have the ability to study up with the numbers in my head.
