The Human Torch

The Human Torch sees the Villains retreat and considers giving chase, but the downed Piledriver gives him pause, and instead he flies down to check on the villains' status.


After confirming that the villain survived his blast, the Torch (still ablaze save for his hands which were used to check on Piledriver) takes to the air again and keeps watch as requested.

After having found the base the Torch hooks up with his Fantastic Four colleagues and makes sure they are ok, suggesting that they stick together and in doing so are best prepared to deal with whatever comes next.

When he gets chance, Johnny will join in with the exploration of the base and find suitable quarters. Less of a leader, though never short of a word or two, the Human Torch will retain his outward appearance of being happy-go-lucky whilst hiding the fact that he's scared stiff. Who knows how far from home, with the most dangerous villains known to man ranged against them, the chances of ever getting home seem remote, even with the genius of Reed Richards in attendance.

Still, he is nothing if not an optimist and continues his good natured banter with Spiderman and other heroes. To the mutants he is polite, but always prepared to 'flame on!' if need be.

Leaving the Meeting Room, Hulk next wanders into a Biology Lab.

After Spider-Man answers Colossus, that's where the largest number of heroes go, including Iron Man. What Spider-Man found is not a Monitor Room but Machinery that keep the base's monitors running.

The Human Torch then opens a door to a previously unexplored room to find |4X8Z1Pk1-100 a Lounge with soft cushions, recliners and plant life.

Approaching the huge construct, Magneto discovers that it is not a vehicle, but a fortress!

The first area he comes to upon entry is 1-100 Machinery. These are large, impressive machines that keep the fortress running.

Reluctant to use the healing machine, Wolverine decided to just rely on his own healing factor. "There's a machine that can patch you up if you're injured he told everyone"

He decided to explore the rest of the compound.

"Looks like I could use some patching up, da?" Colossus says as he heads over to the machine. "After everyone gets patched up we should go exploring together or protection and set up a guard routine." Colossus says.

Spider-Man listened, then shrugged. I'm fine, but it's good to know that this guy who wants us dead also wants us to get healed up between fights. Mad men can be so thoughtful. Don't suppose anybody saw a machine that would teleport me back to Queens? I've got a four o' clock purse snatching to thwart, and I wouldn't want to disappoint my public. No? Eh, worth a shot.

Guess I'll go look around.

Spider-Man set off exploring again, trying to get his bearings in the massive structure, but also lost in thought. He wasn't sure why he, of all people, had been drawn into this crazy cosmic caper. This wasn't his usual thing, and as bad as being Spider-Man could sometimes be, he was missing home already.

Making note of the Biology Lab, the Hulk keeps searching for some kind of holding cell for these criminals.

The machinery Magneto stumbled upon was probably light years ahead of current technological trends...but nothing that his genius intellect couldn't handle if he were to put forth the effort.

Keying in commands into the nearest input terminal, Magnus silently hopes to find something useful for his journey back to Earth from...wherever...these superhumans were stranded.

Wolverine moves on to Vehicle Storage. This vehicle area facility attracts the attention of the Human Torch, Captain America, Colossus and a number of other heroes.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man discovers a Repair Center and Hulk finds more Machinery that keeps the base running.

Wolverine only growled at Spiderman's comment, he had been called worse than insane by better than the web head. All he knew was that whatever he did was for the better-ment of mutants, people and the general world at times. Even if his actions would inevitably leave him alone.

I'm pretty sure that Spider-Man was talking about the Beyonder, but Wolverine can misunderstand him if you wish.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

Cap examines the layout of the planet from the height that the vehicle storage area gives him. "Hmm... this place appears to be clean. At least no immediate threats to endanger us." Cap then commands to everyone near him. "Get everyone together in the meeting room that Hulk found!" Cap knows that while they won the first battle, the war is still now over. They will have to prepare for further encounters. Who knows what else they may face on this strange planet and with the all-powerful, he has to be all-powerful to take out Galactus, Beyonder orchestrating everything.

The Human Torch

"Hey Reed! You've been awfully quiet so far! How come you haven't come up with some fancy explanation as to what we're all doing here, and how? More importantly, it's the 'how we get back' part I'm more interested in..." called out the Torch.

He flew high and away from the others with his flame on a low intensity but didn't feel confident enough to lower his guard yet.

ACTIONS

The Torch will help out and explore. In addition he will check out the vehicles they found. If he can figure out how to pilot them he will offer his services, but knows Ben Grimm is a far better pilot than he will ever be, so defers to his friend if need be. Above all he will remain vigilant, even if he is a little jumpy.
