You and Negi sit across a small table in Negi's dorm eating lunch. He's such a charming and cute boy... In a few years he'd make a real good catch. (Ignoring the scant few sick voices in your head telling you, he's already quite a catch.) You discuss all the steps you can take tp protect the school, so far the best idea he has is building some sort of security system. At the very least a few sensors and alarms. Negi blushes a bit. the table is so small your feet keep touching under it despite Negi's best attempts to keep them still and away. Kinda cute in a childish sorta way.

-That's not bad, for a start, Mikoto said, as she playfully moved his foot to the side with her own, hinting at how she had noticed how much trouble he was having at trying not to accidentally touch her leg, and to signify he should relax. She didn't mind, apparently. Still, your students are exceptional, and so, it would seem, are you. For your school, I would recommend going all the way. I.Ds cards, sensors covering most of the school grounds, alarms, cameras. Increased and improved communication systems, as well as 'Panic buttons' allowing certain individuals, like you and me, to know when there's trouble, the moment someone knows there's trouble. It may sound like a lot, but... I don't need to remind you that your school is clearly targeted by dangerous individuals. We must make it safe for the girls, and for you.
Still playing around with him a bit, she cheerfully (yet gently) poked Negi's foot with her toe.
-But that is but the technological aspect of the whole idea. How about magic? ...You seem to know a thing or three about it... Maybe magical protections as well? Emotional/Aggression reading enchantments, force fields, lie detectors, animated constructs? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12 stones (Ef.) into General Knowledge (Tactical lore, Military Protocol/Lore, Consumed Knowledge/Memories, AIM, Military Technology) plus 3 from Genius;
and 10 stones into Black Ops (Security systems, Surveillance) plus 3 from Genius, both actions to come up with good ideas and suggestions and help Negi come up with what's best for the school.

Negi sits nervously thinking for a bit. "I'd have to talk with the Dean about things like that. I don't have the authority, but even then I'm sure I could talk Chao and Satomi into whipping something up.
When you suggest magic he carefully ponders it. "I'm not sure... I don't know too many spells that would prove useful in that capacity... The best I could think of would be some sensory barriers to let me know if anything happened, but they could only cover a small area like maybe whatever building I'm currently in, and no more." He says sadly. "I'm sorry, I wish I was more help." He says looking downtrodden. Reminds you a bit of Sasuke before... well you know.

-Hey,the kunoichi said, putting a single, slender finger under Negi's chin and raising it up for him to look into her eyes: Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure you're doing already a great deal of work to protect these girls, and I do believe they love and respect you a lot. That alone counts for a lot all by itself.
She smiled reassuringly, removing her finger:
-...It's my fault, really. I show up with my technical know-how and my strategies and all, and forget that this is a school, not a military base. Then I expect you to come up with one defensive spell after another, and I know nothing about magic. I suppose I simply took for granted that a wizard knows tons of spells, as they do in the fantasy books. Shows how much I know in that domain. Please forgive me.
She blinked, pausing for a moment. For some reason, she found herself feeling new powers and... well, ironically enough, magic lore... entering her mind and body. She raised an eyebrow in surprise.
-Wha...? I... Um... Negi-san? Magic... is acquired via studying, correct? One does not simply... suddenly know magic, is that right?

Negi's eyes widen. "Not typically. You usually have to learn magic one spell at a time."

-Not sure how it happened, but... I did just learned some magic. I know a handful of spells related to time and various enchantments to be used on weapons. Strange... the only ways I know of gaining new abilities without developing them on one's own is to either fuse with somebody else with these, she pointed her Potara earrings with her finger, or for me to absorb someone using my biomass powers... and I've done neither this time.
She also sensed that she had gained formidable physical prowess alongside it, making her even more powerful.
-All that power... sometimes, I worry about gaining it all. Other times... I am sad I didn't gain it earlier. Perhaps I could have saved those I loved if I did.
She didn't seem too sad at the moment, although there definitely was melancholy in her eyes.
-Where was I...? Oh yes. As I was saying... just do your best and make what changes you think can help. How about I help out a bit? Maybe I could become a teacher here. Martial arts... Ninjutsu, perhaps? See if your girls have the potential to learn the ways of a ninja... They'd definitely be able to defend themselves if they do.

"Hmmm... I know several of the girls know how to fight, but still I doubt the dean would appreciate combat training... Maybe I could talk him into accepting you as a gym teacher, and you can help them after school if they are willing to volunteer."

-Works for me. The dean sounds... not too open to new ideas, is he? Doesn't he know that martial arts are one of the most complete and healthiest of physical activities one could practice? It's also good for the mind and self-confidence... not that I'm really trying to convince him or anything. Teaching martial arts is not merely a combat training, but also a great exercise, and a teaching of 'when' to use it, and when not to.
Mikoto shrugged, still liking the idea. Gym teacher was good as far as she was concerned. Besides, she could still teach a lot to the kids even without technically teaching them to 'fight'.

"Well there is a martial arts club in the school. Ku Fei, and Chao are both in it. I just don't know if I can get the whole class to join that. But I'll try my best." He says.
about 48 hours later give or take.
You stand before the assembled class in the gymnasium. You are teaching them "physical activity" of course they never specified WHAT activity to teach them.

Mikoto blew her whistle (which had been given to her as a tool of the trade - she enjoyed using the annoying device) to get the attention of the class, who were still chatting about 'the new teacher'. She nodded, not especially unfamiliar with the situation. Heck, she... well, Alex Mercer, must have absorbed half a dozen gym teachers, and she had the expertise of each in her mind. Still... she was going to rely more on her Kunoichi abilities, whether her students knew so or not.
-Alright class. For those of you who don't know already, name's Mikoto Alexandra Mercer. I'm new here, and if you think that's going to make this class easy, you are sorely mistaken. She smiled, amused by the looks she was getting. I intend to make healthy, fit and active young people out of all of you, and possibly teach a thing or three more to those of you with the potential and willingness to learn. Get ready, 'cause I won't go easy on you. Now, before we move on to the good stuff, we have to go through the less good. Split into teams of four; we're playing some Dodgeball.
It could have been basketball, baseball or whatever, it didn't really matter; she just wanted to see them move, and get physically active. Why? ...Because it was easier to see if one had good potential to control their own Chakra during physical activities. Also, she favored Dodgeball because it came with a certain sense of competition, which also favored a clear Chakra signature.
She folded her arms, blowing the whistle again before adding on a playful tone:
-Come on, we don't have all day.

The 31 students quickly assemble into 8 groups.
"Well this is hardly fair." The odd team out consisting of Evangeline, Chachamaru, and Saotomi.

Mikoto Alexandra Mercer-Heh. Don't worry. We do have another player, after all...Mikoto reached for her Pokéball, which she then threw with a smirk, allowing her Sneasel to appear next to the trio of girls. -...do we not, Sneasel?------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OOC: Getting Sneasel out as the 4th player for that team.

Mikoto used her consumed lore of coachs and gym teachers to properly handle the class (making sure everything was going well, handling the scores, helping the students out, etc) like a professional, but as far as she was concerned, this was all secondary when it came to her real intent. Her eyes revealing their Sharingan, she made sure to get a good look at each girl's reserves of Chakra and physical potential judging from the game and her eyes. Her goal wasn't to teach then how to play Dodgeball right.
...It was to find out who were the ten students most likely to become great ninjas under her tutelage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10 stones (Ef.) into General Knowledge (Consumed knowledge/memories) plus 3 from Genius to do a great gym teacher job;
6 stones into Intelligence, plus 10 from Sense Chakra, to find out which ten students could become the best ninjas under my tutelage.
