I had an idea for a hero who's power is directly tied to his belief in what he's doing. But I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. I'm thinking typical Paragon type hero: Strength, Speed, Durability and Stamina. Cape and tights I've thought about this hero an various stages of personal development so the distinctions I've got figured out already and they change a few times. So its the power set I'm having trouble with. This is what I'm looking at: Power of Conviction
Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Durability, Superhuman Leaping, Enhanced Speed, Enhanced Stamina, Enhanced Emotional Resistance
SFX; Righteous Might, Step up or Double any Power of Conviction power whenever you succeed against an Emotional attack involving the righteousness of your cause. Spend 1 pp to get this bonus without the reaction roll. (for example, if he already feels strongly about the cause.)
SFX; Second Wind (RAW)
Limit; Plaguing Doubt, Shutdown a Power of Conviction power or step back ALL Power of Conviction powers by -1 whenever you receive Emotional stress involving the righteousness of your cause. The power set is the only thing I'm looking for feedback on, well, and as the title states, a name. So I won't go into specialties.

Considering I created this board, you'd think I'd actually check it more often. ^__^ Sorry I didn't see this until recently, ironfox! Sounds like you have a good grasp of power sets. The only thing I'd pick on is that Enhanced Speed and Superhuman Leaping are a bit redundant, but it IS certainly possible to have them both. You may also find that you'll want a limit that you can activate yourself, when you really want a Plot Point. That's more of a metagame suggestion, too,t hough. Is there a specific aspect of the power set that you want feedback on? ~TWF

I was just looking for alternate ways of achieving the same thing to see what one felt best.
