Hey guys, Leska here and I have a question for you all. I'm making a character who has a mastery of blood and I was wondering how much should I charge for an option to temporarily replicate powers from another? I started thinking about what a master of blood manipulation could do and then I thought, if she took on a mutant or homo magi, whose powers are in their very blood why couldn't she temporarily tap into their abilities and use them against them? The way I see it should would have to get their blood and ingest it to gain their power for a predetermined amount of time. So like I.E she cuts Emma Frost and gets some of her blood on her hand, by licking it and ingesting it she temporarily gains Emma's Diamond Form or Telepathy. I really don't know how to go about this one so any help would be nice, thanks

Just price it the same as you would the Copy Modifier! I forget how much it is exactly, but if we assume it's 30w (as those types of Modifiers are), then you can equate it to a CL13 Power (right? I haven't forgotten these numbers, have I?) and add Advantage/Disadvantages in the same way you would an Action or Modifier with a CL. I think there's a Disadvantage that requires use of one Action to be connected to another, which you could apply to this.

Homo magi is a DC comics thing, right? In any case this seems like an extremely expensive option to be added to a Mastery. Its probably cheaper to buy it as a separate power.

sounds more like steal super power then copy action/Mod with instead of touch she has "need subject blood" (i as gm would prob cost that at 10w cost with need about 1 cup of blood for all powers and disadvantage of only getting mutant power (as she cant make new elements into the blood i asume like cosmic power of the F4)also disadvantage of cannot steal memory) along with like unlimited create/manipulate as you are in-pyling she can change her blood at the genetic level. although i think that your looking at a very costly mastery going in.

How about this?
Blood Replication (As Metamorphosis) AN+6 - May only use after absorbing blood -2 - May only replicate actions/attributes of absorbed bloods owner -1 - May only replicate actions/Attributes that are innate to the blood absorbed (Mutants, Vampires, etc) -1
I would combine that on the character with a Mastery of Blood power.. kind of like this
Mastery of Blood - Absorb/Manipulate +1 (as create/manipulate, but allows for absorption instead of creation)
and then any other additional options you want. The advantage here is that you can start it off small and have it grow, the downside is that what you can replicate/mimic is limited by you AN. If you drank some of Emma Frosts blood and wanted to replicate her telepathy you would have a limit based on your own AN. An option to include any options/drawbacks your target has to the replicated power is probably appropriate as well.
