It would be nice to know for what kind of character they are. All in all, just think of the pivotal motivations, objectives, or just general behavior of the character. Then, split them into something like: "This happens often in the life of the character because of this/These are important moments defining of the character because of this/This could be the culmination of this path of the character, probably branching into two dramatic options, that would define a new milestone" and try to guide yourself like that. The books contain plenty of examples to use as guidelines, but we can't really help without knowing anything.

Why don't we start with the Oldest (so far) PC for a future game Heroic: "Magician Girl's" Bio.
Now, she is stated often as being a "nice, Jewish girl,” although "girl" is considered a misnomer by some for "Joan Alynn" (as she is named now) is actually (approx.) 2,500 years old. She is joked as seeing the Earth even before the "Christ child." At any rate, she had been growing up a normal pre-teen ancient Hebrew young lady under her father, she wasn't married yet when low-&-behold her older sister died in a strange accident. The family was devastated for a short time before the Mother died under similar mysterious circumstances. It was just her and her father, her Mom was young. Her father demanded one day she bring him some water, so the obedient young lady made the attempt. Before she could get done, however, her father stood behind her with a strange look on his face. She dropped the cup, when she with a lump in her throat wondered why he was so impatient. He then grabbed her trying to rip off her clothes, obviously trying to do what a father should not do with his daughter. Obviously a little girl, she tried to fight back when she saw an image of her Mother and Sister. She ran towards their images when the Mother handed her a Spiritual-weapon, a Sword. The girl, confused, grabbed the weapon and turned towards her father when . . . he ran into the sword. He fell on the floor.
Her Ancient Hebrew Neighbors found out through rumors that she "murdered" her father. She had to run away! She ran into the Outer Wilderness . . . She would have starved and died of thirst and heat stroke, if not for the Arabic Amazons. The "Nice Jewish Girl" met the Queen of the Female Warriors who took an immediate interest in the beautiful young lady. She saw to her health then took to training her in Fighting Arts and Amazonian Crafts. She became, Joan, a junior member of the Tribe's city-state. Eventually however in a few yrs. she would be invited to go on Raiding Missions with small units to steal basically --- the Amazons needed to rob to sustain themselves. She, "Joan," discovered some of the Amazons were former Hebrews like herself. She at first thought former Yahweh followers should have acted better morally. Then so should have father.

Knowing that, depending on what traits of the character you want to highlight, you could go for:
Girl Out of Time (If she can't or doesn't bother to keep with times) 1XP - Every time someone surprises by you not knowing how to handle modern technology. 3XP - Every time you or an ally suffer stress due to your imprudence with modern technology. 10XP - When you either learn how to live with the times you are in, or get over the fact that you can't keep with times.
Business End of a Sword (If she tends to solve troubles with violence) 1XP - Every time you start a fight. 3XP - Every time that an ally or an innocent bystander gets injured on a fight started by you. 10XP - When you abandon the Sword as a mean to protecting the innocent or you learn patience in its use.
You could do a "Sins of the Father" one if what happened still chases her, maybe related to a general abuse of power or as a gender issue, maybe "The Eight" one related to those units dedicated to steal and how she sees it... It all depends on what issues of the character you want to address, and on what directions she could grow.

Hope that I gave you some ideas you can use. I found it natural making them once I got accustomed.

Okay, I am going to try to make the idea behind the last two "PCs" sound as interesting, to someone other than myself, as much as possible. The first hero, unnamed as of yet (any help with that would be appreciated) , & "Indigo" were youngsters enlisted into a special group therapy group at a mental health clinic. Their Psychiatrist was covertly a Mutant & wanted to help as many such as himself (also a bi-sexual male) as he could. This was the past. Now, they have evolved as the teen-age X-Men evolved, as well. The former Patients, anyway . . . the Psychiatrist is now a Super-Villain --- one of their greatest enemies! He is now a Harley Quinn-esque, Hannibal Lecter-like figure in their lives. They are aided/protected by the former Psychiatry Aide/Student, another "Mutie," now one of the Nation's best full "Mind Doctors." The "evolved" now-Men, work-for/are-aided by "Envy." One of the top #3 richest men in America, a searcher for GB Super-Human Males for Heroes-for-hire purposes. (Think the Logo-Version of "Charlie's Angels.") The Unnamed (again, help?) & "indigo" were Gay Lovers in the past, when the (Unnamed) was Crazy-er & Indigo had heaps of low self-esteem. They are saner & more assertive now, but the past is the past . . .
