I always say that the Human Body is a formidable machine, when you stop to think about it. It is so well made. Capable of the most amazing things, and housing such a brain so full of potential. Our joints can move in a surprisingly complex way, our faces are capable of hundreds of different expressions, our immune systems protect us from millions of different bacterias and viral infections, the body can rebuild itself up to a certain extent using blood cells and various other nutrients! ................................ ...And then I laugh a little bit too hard when my neck is at an unusual angle, and I pull a bloody muscle, can hardly get out of bed and cry whenever I move. WHAT THE HELL?!!

Unfortunately so. X(
I think I was less restricted in movement when I sprained my ankle, and now it's only because I laughed. That's kind of unfair.

On the plus side, I get one more day off. Still, I would have loved to work today. It would have been pretty relax, and I was happy to do so because I had most of my energy back... Bah. It's just for one day.

Am I allowed to laugh, too? Or would it be insensitive?

Laugh at my misery. At least it'll have done some good. But I'm feeling much better now. Another couple Advils, a bit more rest and I should be good as new.

Advil? That's a name I haven't heard in a while.
Tylenol dominates the painkiller market down here.

It kinda does here too, but as far as I'm concerned, Tylenol rules against colds and the flu, while Advil dominates VS muscular pain.
With my body, anyway.

I get migranes from time to time, but I've learned to tell when they're on the way most of the time, and if I down a couple Advil liquigels and take a nap, I can usually recover within an hour or two. Sometimes I don't notice the visual effects until it's too late, though; then I'm out for like a whole day. ~TWF

I'm a very special kind of wimp. I take almost no medications even though I'm in constant pain (lower back and knee are both shot)... but when the sinuses come calling, I drug myself as heavily as possible and sleep it off. The pain in my face/head is tremendous. I've been stabbed... I'll take another stabbing over the sinus pain.

I've found that machines are more exact than the human body. Let's say, if you're driving in a car, you can go 55 miles an hour for a mile the time will be pretty close to exact depending on traffic.
However, I've found out that my time varies when I'm running from day to day. I generally shoot for one and a half miles in fifteen minutes or less, but I can be anywhere from a minute to two minutes over, or a minute less. Having plenty of gas in your car is great, but if you have gas while you're running you're just bloated and have a little bit more trouble keeping your breath

You've been stabbed?! Was it someone from the board? Twice (sort of) and oddly enough, nope.

I love the "oddly enough" part. Won't ask for names, then.

WildKnightYou've been stabbed, and I haven't, and hopefully wont be *Knock on wood*. There's allot of irony there. May I ask how or why if it's something you don't mind discussing or don't find too personal. If you do I completely understand and will not ask again
