David gritted his teeth as the man in yellow-and-brown quilts actually had a softer-than-expected landing. Apparently, that thief was a resourceful one....Then it hit him: what happens if he were to remove those fancy gauntlets from the man's hands?
Putting his teleportation to good use, he attempted just that. Hopefully, that'd facilitate an easier arrest.

Instead of trying to teleport with the gauntlets. You try to wrestle them off his hands... as he generates a series of powerful vibrations that feel like several hammers striking your hands. (OOC: Lose 2w)
Rice's now-unconscious body skidded to a halt after it went sailing due to his questionably-idiotic method of disarming the super-thief in quilted clothing. He was practically hanging onto the last vestiges of his life. His only hope would be a miracle, at best...

"You're lucky Shocker didn't want a murder on his record." The nurse said injecting you with a series of stimpaks to mend your bones. "Don't worry, Spider-Man got him for you." She said then sawing you out of said cast. "Okay it's been 12 hours, time for you to go."
Apparently, a certain wall-crawler had swooped down into the action whilst Davy was unconscious... And manged to, unsurprisingly, best the tech-dependent thief that had knocked the wind out of the teleporter's sails. The syringe seemed to do wonders in mending the remaining damage Rice had in his body... And the nurse was sweet enough to remove the cast from his body with no prior indication.
"Wait..." Davy asked before taking his leave. "You didn't run any blood or DNA tests on me while I was out, did you?"
His reason behind this was that, as a mutant, he preferred to keep his superhuman status on a need-to-know basis.
"Very well, I'll be taking my leave now." Jumper said. "Thanks."
The ex-thief left the safe confines of the hospital, walking the dank streets alone still trying to reacclimate to his usual walking style. He hasn't found a reason to teleport home yet, so a decent stroll was in order for the time being.
