No one ever wishes anymore... BPRD Don't know enough about the source material to run this, but I'd be into playing. ... I think this is one of those ideas that's cursed on the board here though. I've been in at least 3 games, and I don't think any of them have ever really gotten off the ground.

I barely do too. I know the movies by rote... And I've picked up 13 or so Hellboy graphic novels, buuuut havent read then yet. :-)

I had a proof of concept awhile back based on the BPRD but there didn't seem to be much interest...

I showed interest in it but I don't know how the three of us will work together.

Had a thought today. A MHRPG set in Potterverse (or something like it) could be entertaining.

Um not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but is there a game available where the players are characters in a world where powers/abilities/...whatever you wanna call it, are fresh and new?
Not a place where powers are already an established thing, but something along the lines of the show "Heroes" (the first season). I saw that entire show, (not the greatest of shows but it had its moments) and really liked the concept. I've no experience or desire to want to run a game like that, but I thought I'd ask if someone/something like that already exists.
BTW, hello, I'm new here. Found a murpg book at local store and really liked it.

I have an idea pitched for something similar to what you are asking but only had two responses and I need 4 to get a game going

Welcome aboard, guy! ^___^ The General Discussion section is definitely the place to look for recruiting games; hopefully something will pop up soon. The other option is to look through some of the active, ongoing games and message the GM to see if they have any interest in taking on a new player. Might be worth a try, anyway. ^__^ I like that "Heroes" feel, too, though I admit I didn't really follow the show after the first season. ~TWF

I'm actually really enjoying the HEROES REBORN season airing right now, but then I invested completely back then and pushed through even the bad seasons ;-)

Oh yeah, I forgot that was on! I think I watched the first episode and then got too busy to follow up. Maybe I should get back into it..

Didn't they decide not to renew that for a new season? I hate to get invested in characters and they just disappear... Why I am looking for a home for a few of my recycled characters now.

I'd like to do a game set in the deep expanse, classical exploration tropes, to boldly go, and all that jazz.
