I'll be tossing my concept for somethig more fun for me to play. With surpreme sniper vision, the ability to see through walls, kinetic energy and hardness. Surpreme ego also. I'm thinking demigod, daughter of Phoebus Apollon, The Greek God Archer with those arrows that never miss stuff. (as one of his minor god benefits) Want her to have starshaped iris, either with one, or both eyes. And a modest desiny force modifier as representation that her god father might jump in if he feels it. Would that be acceptable ? *sending the rough cad for closer inspection* Edit: And found a pic  |

A character with Destiny Force? That would be interesting. Never had a game with someone having that power so far. And how about we make it ambiguous on whether she is a demigod or not?

Best way to take that I think is to have your guy be all like "I'm a demigod!" And every one else thinks he's a little off his rocker.
I think the thing here is that SKA is going for a fairly 'real' setting to start with. Mythology needs to be a little ambiguous to set up that feel. I could be wrong though.

Dunecat is correct. I want to start off fairly realistic. If things are a success, we can have your character be revealed as a demigod though.

Tweaked around slightly with her powers in the mean time. Gave her an 1 in mastery of light, so she can pull out neat holo maps of what she sees with her "tunnelvision". And also got her a family name ;-). Not 100% sure on the first and 2nd name. Iris something Ingram it is for now. -> open to suggestions -> www.forbes.com/profile/ingram/'d say Robin Bigelow Ingram Patton is her mother. Slightly tweaked family tree as (e.g. her not married due to Iris's "fatherless" birth). Iris would be the product of a one night stand at a ski resort durin a costume party at haloween. Her father would be someone that dressed up as Phoebus Apollon. Her mom didn't manage to find him after receiveing the "good news" and decided to raise her on her own. In Iris's Teenage days she then followed up the "lead" about that resort, finding out that that "guest" was a regular apearing there (but only for the party) each year in the same costume. Iris asked the Landlord of the resort to keep an eye out for him and contact her the next time he shows up. However this "God" never showed up since then. Iris got several medical checkups each confirming that asside from her extraordinary abilities and visible anomalies she is a (geneticly) normal human. When people come up with new methods of analysis she she gets called up for a new checkup, but so far her missing father seems to be the only hope to bring light into her unusual case. Iris takes it well though, so far her "demigod" theory is as good as any. And as she has no material trouble thanks to her family she doesn't hold no grudge against her "missing" father either. Iris hasn't permitted any of her genetic material (under threat of a lawsuit) to be used in cloning or similar experiments as she'd consider that gross. And as she doesn't have any offspring herself there is curently no way to tell if her powers are hereditary. Also after a lot of youtub song serching around I finaly found her kind of theme song. I think it's holding for my submission.. I was sure I'd sent it off but looking at my notes they're still about 95% finished rather then sent off. My bad guys. I'll wrap that up tonight/tomorrow
