The reason for it saying not restricted by R#1 is obvious you do not have to spend stones to make the affect last. It is of unlimited duration. It can be turned on and off at will. Saying this takes an action is like saying that the passive defense given by telepathy and MoM take an action. It is simply not the case.
Healing factor says you have the ability to heal wound rapidly does this take up an action? Dosen't using your abilites take up an action? My characters can breath, does it take an action for them to breath?
Saying that simply because you can do something means that you must use an action to do it is a fallacious argument I am certainly with Manah on this.

Thanks, but I recommend not wasting your time with this argument. It's not worth it at this point. We obviously won't change his mind, and he will only see you as illogical and altering facts too, especially if you agree with me. Better spend your time having fun that trying to convince him. ^_^

Yes I just want to see the argument where he tries to say it is illogical to say someone can breath.

Have actualy played games (not murpg) where it took aktion points to breath. :-3 Well it was only one, you didn't need to breeth in every turn, and other actions costed more AP. Still even as a player I considered it quite fun back then. We didn't need to "go to toilet" and "eat regularly", was just this little thingy in rushing action scenes. So not as bad as it sounds. Kind of like taking cover and reload. Rush in, strike, slash slash slash.... breeeeath, slash slash

True but if 1 action is breathing then that means you have only 1 left per round unless you take self contained life form. I can hear see touch taste and smell too. So now must you shut down 4 of your 5 senses to continue breathing? and when you take an action does that mean you remove your ability to breath or use your senses to do so? Also there are actions that give passives. This is simply an option to gain a passive. I would imagine it is a way to blance energy because Magic is so expensive in this game and you normally have to pay 2x for int because building a durability based character does not really work, and you only get intx2 energy not int x3 if you want to bonus to your actions, 7+action number for 2 actions because MoM simply cannot stand alone is ruff .
